We were looking for what we were going to eat we had nuts and.....well nuts! I wasn't one to eat much so I wasn't complaining I fixed my green dress that looked like the earth benders dresses and I was wearing my great grandmothers braclet . Where are we exactly ?'we were... I don't even know but we heard these big

BOOM! BOOM!

Sounds and while I agreed with sokka that we should run AWAY from the sounds but I willingly went along and saw a earth bender moving some boulders I wanted to leave but Katara had some ...other plans she went right up to him saying

''Hi! I'm Katara!'' I followed her lead and went up to him and bowed

''Hello I'm marryann nice to meet you.'' But he looked scared he ran away and I knitted my brows that face....it was one of fear I saw it on villagers when we radded there village I saw them sometimes but after a few times I just , couldn't, I felt so bad...

''Why did he run away...'' I said but I went unnoticed since my voice was soft I was lost in my own thoughts that I didn't notice that they were walking until Sokka shook me and said

''Come on were going to a town to get some food.'' I smiled nodded and smiled

When we got here I was looking at the cheapest food that- sadly for Sokka- was dried fruit and vegetables but I saw Katara and the others go into a store which made me excuse myself from the nice old women that was selling the food and saw the same earth bender from before his mother was talking about no bending that he could be taken prisoner

Then there was a knock on the door sokka said

''Fire nation!everyone act natural! '' I simply stayed still when they came in telling the earth Bender's mother that they had to get payed again the man looked at me like he knew me or at least my face. I prayed he didn't .

When he left I was pissed ! Pissed at ozi pissed at that guy for giving fire benders a bad name! But I kept it in so I only got a light anger blush but I saw the earth bender boy looking at me with a blush then looking away but then his mother said

''He should never earth bend its nothing but trouble .'' that made my cheeks burn as I said

''Well I'm a earth bender and a water bender what's so bad about being what are? Bending is what makes someone special! How can you say to your son?''

''They can take him away to prison like his father!'' I stepped back stunned. I bow and excuse my thoughts

''I..I didn't know that...sorry ''I shut up then we were led to a house like thing were we could stay the night and I went to talk to haru (I found out his name,) me and him started walking alone

''Sorry I was out of line with your mother..''

''No no thanks for standing up for me.'' He said then he asked

''Can you really bend water and earth?" I nodded

''Yes I can but I'm very new to bending I never really got yo learn earth or water.''

''Why?''

''I was a servant for the Royal family of the fire nation my parents were killed in front of me when I was 5 and I was not allowed to even think about bending water or earth.''I say he looks at me with sadden eyes then his eyes get brighter

''Wanna learn?''

''Learn what?'' I say

''Earth bending I could show you some stuff.''

''Sure if its not a bother...'' I say tucking my hair behind my ear

''Um marryann right?'' He said

''Yeah haru.''he clapped his hands

''Let's get started.''

Its been a few minutes and I got the basics down but when he was teaching me a other stance he grabbed my waist and was really close I blushed and turned around.... Bad idea me and haru were about 2 inches away from each others lips I blushed he was closing in I pushed him away slightly saying

''Sorry...but no...'' He had a click in his head

''Sorry I um I ...bye.'' He said blushing

When he left me and made sure I was alone I touched my lips

'Was I going to let him kiss me?' I thought but then I felt this pang in my chest thinking about Zuko

'Zuko...huh he would have killed haru on the spot for touching me.' I was walking to the house/barn I was so surprized then Katara said

''What happened why are your cheeks red?''

'My cheeks are red.' I thought covering them with my hands

''Did haru try tho kiss you or something?'' She said I slowly nodded and went to my hay bed I went into a fedal position

'I feel cold zuko...' I smiled remembering what he used to say

''I'll keep my marmar safe and warm no matter what.'' He would kiss me good night with a warm smile I let a quick tear drop from my face I don't care who hates or loves me if zuko loves me I'm complete

But the thing is..I'm so cold...zuko where are you?'
