Prehistory

I'm Y/N and live in Mystic Falls with my best friend Damon Salvatore. We are best friends since we were little kids. In 1864 I turned into a Vampire with Damon and Stefan. At first, we all planned to die together but then because I couldn't control my blood lust, and drank human blood Damon decided to turn with me although he was pretty scared he did it anyway. And then there was Stefan. After I and Damon turned into a Vampire we wanted to talk to Stefan so he could turn with us but we found him dead already. Until now it follows us cause we were supposed to die together but didn't which was my fault. Damon and I swore that we would be there for each other forever, so no one had to be alone. It was a rough time, to say the least. 

We live in a world where normally after you turn 18 u can't see colors anymore until u meet ur soulmate. Since we turned into Vampires after our 18 birthdays we couldn't see colors anymore. Damon thought that we will never meet our soulmates since we are Vampires now and like Damon said "we are monsters and monsters don't have soulmates" I still believed in the soulmate thing and didn't let Damon's hope shrink. One day Damon really met his soulmate and her name is Elena Gilbert but that's another story. Let's just say we are now three Vampires, two who are soulmates and one who is still hoping to find hers. The time is passing and we are doing whatever we want, exploring the world for example (maybe to find my soulmate, which didn't happen btw) after a couple of years I kinda lost my hope and started to get really sad. We decided to visit this big city New Orleans again. We were there one time but not for long. There is going to be a party tonight as we've heard. We went to a bar at first, drank a little, heard some music and played some dart.

And there is were I met him.
