A Fall from Grace, and His Rise from Disgrace

Revenge Part One

  Izuku unbuttoned his uniform, removing his shirt and revealing his metal arm to the other boy.

  Todoroki's eyes were wide.

  "Bakugo blew your arm off?!?" He hissed in disbelief.

  Izuku nodded, flexing the metal appendage.

  "He has a powerful quirk, so the school wiped his records clean. Hardly anyone knows he took my arm though. I want to watch the realization dawn in his eyes as I stand over him in the sports festival." Izuku clicked.

  Todoroki gave a short huff of laughter.

  "I'll watch your career with interest. See you out there Mask." He said.

  Izuku nodded to the boy, pulling his costume on over his scars and mechanical arm.

  He wore a long sleeved jumpsuit that had been synthesized from a strand of his hair by a support company. As long as he was in contact with the fabric, anything that touched his costume, or the soles of his shoes, could be Altered.

  Izuku wore a glove over his right hand, and just kept his regular green mask on. It was specially armoured against all sorts of things anyway, so he didn't need a new one for training.

  Izuku ran out after Todoroki and joined his classmates.

  "Excellent, you're all here! Now, today's training will be a team battle! One team, the heroes, must infiltrate a villain hideout and capture either both of the villains, or secure the doomsday device!" All Might said.

  "And the villain team must defend their hideout, and their doomsday weapon for ten minutes, or capture both of the heroes." Storm said.

  All Might put people into teams, and Viridian Storm pulled balls out of boxes to decide the matchups.

  "Team D are the heroes, and team A are the villains!" She said.

  Izuku and Ochako were team A.

  Bakugo and Izumi were team B.

  Izuku huffed beneath his mask, while Ochako have a satisfied smile.

  Bakugo looked ready to fight, but Izumi looked sceptical.

  "Villain team, you have five minutes to prepare a strategy and hide the doomsday device before the heroes enter the building! Heroes, use this time to study the floorplan, and come up with an effective strategy!" All Might said.

  Storm gave each student an earpiece connected to their teammate's.

  "Villains, once you enter the building your five minutes begin!" All Might said.

  Izuku nodded silently, walking out of the viewing room alongside Ochako.

  Once they were out of sight Izuku removed his mask, showing his partner the massive grin on his face.

  Ochako smiled back.

  "What's got you so happy?" She asked.

  Izuku huffed in laughter.

  "My quirk is called Alter." He whispered. "The hero's floor plan is going to be useless."

  Ochako laughed out loud.

  "Step one I assume?" She asked.

  Izuku nodded, putting his mask back on as they approached the building, and the cameras.

  He reached out and brushed his left hand against the wall. There was a loud rumble, then nothing.

  "Let's go and secure the doomsday device. If we split up and occupy different floors, we can lure them to the wrong places." Izuku whispered.

 
 
  Once their five minutes were up, the hero team entered the building.

  "This isn't anything like the floorplan at all.." Izumi muttered.

  "Indeed it isn't, Hero." Izuku clicked.

  Bakugo growled.

  "Leave this masked bastard to me Zumi. Go look for the bomb and the gravity bitch."

  Izukus eyes narrowed at Bakugo's use of the nickname he gave his sister.

  Izumi nodded, running back the way they came to search down a different corridor.

  Bakugo strode forwards confidently, his palms crackling with small explosions.

  "You can make this easy.. or you can make it difficult." Bakugo said.

  Izukus eyes narrowed, and he fired a plasma bolt at the boy.

  "Difficult." He choked out.

  Bakugo growled, then blasted off, launching himself at Izuku.

  Izuku raised his right arm and caught the incoming blast on his forearm. His sleeve and glove were obliterated, but his arm was left undamaged.

  "What the-"

  "Surprise motherfucker." Izuku croaked.

  Izuku lashed out, entwining his metal fingers with Bakugo's.

 
  And he squeezed.
