Bev ran to Niall and hugged him.
"I missed you so much." She hid her face in the crook of his neck.
Niall hugged her back. "I missed you too."
They let go of each other and blushed. "So, uh, how was the trip?" Bev asked placing some hair behind her ear.
"Rubbish, because I didn't see you. You're my best friend." Niall smiled yet Bev felt like dying.
"And you are mine."
They smiled and yet Niall felt like dying.
Best friends.
Not lovers.
