When he opened them, he saw Kagami right by his face. She leant in as if she were trying to kiss him and he began to lean backwards, moving away.

It was nothing against Kagami, but he had just discovered that he liked Marinette he wasn't about to lead her on.

He was running out of room to move back and, right as she had him cornered, she was pulled away by the string of a yo-yo.

He gave a large, relieved sigh and held a hand to his chest.

"Thank you, m'lady."

Ladybug ran while holding Kagami.

"I'm honoured that you chose me ladybug, but I thought that you couldn't give me this miraculous again, since Hawkmoth knows my identity."

"There's no time. I need.. your exceptional talent." She smiled kindly at Kagami, trying to convince her.

Kagami looked at her dubiously but said no more.

"Plus, the akumatized villain is targeting people in love."

Kagami barely heard it but smiled, happy with that explanation.

Adrien realised that there must be something going on and ran to a secluded underpass to a car park.

"Plagg, claws out!"

Marinette landed on a rooftop and set Kagami on her feet.

"I hope I didn't interrupt anything with... that boy."

She held out the box with Kagami's miraculous, that she had set aside before.

Kagami sighed and took the box, "hhu~ you did turn up a little, unexpectedly."

Her little kwami flew out.

"I'm honoured to see you again, Kagami-san, we are about to accomplish great things together."

Kagami smiled at him, giving a half bow.

"The honour is mine, Longg-sama."

Ladybug looked at her closely.

"The boy is famous, isn't he? You're bound to break a lot of hearts."

Kagami shook her head.

"There's only one person I don't want to hurt. Marinette. She's the only other friend I have. But Adrien and I are made for each other, we're so alike. I can't give him up, even for the sake of friendship."

Marinette looked down, thinking about what Kagami had said.

"I know Marinette. I helped her parents when they were akumatized and we stayed in touch."

Kagami looked at her in curiosity.

"Really?" Kagami asked.

Ladybug nodded.

"She used to have a thing for Adrien, but I've heard that she actually likes someone else, now."
