I felt myself wake up once again. I don't know how long I'd been asleep for but the person who was beside me has now gone.

The beeping was still here but now I could hear faint voices.

I concentrated on the voices, blocking out the beeping machine.

I made out 2 voices:

One I didn't know but they sounded calm, like they knew what they were doing.

The other I recognised but couldn't quite put my finger on it. They seemed angry and scared by the way they were talking to person 1.

I heard the door open and someone pull out a chair before I fell unconscious again....
