"This place wasn’t my home, of course it wasn’t my home. The place was dark and still, the only colours of life were the dark purple and the bright green. Grey was the only other colour there was, if you want to count that as a colour. It was dull, and dreary. Nothing about it was vivid or vain. Nothing about it was the way I had grown so familiar with."

Enzo's life was nothing special, besides for the gills that sliced into her neck and the grey tail that morphed when ever she stepped into the salty comfort of a calming ocean.
Living with her brother meant there were regualr moves for his ever growing job, and the recent one was the worst of all. A small town bustling with hospitality, and a poor substitute for a wide open sea. All that was there was the particular dissapointment of poluted docks.

But what happens when she's seen, when someone glimpses at her ever dull tail, and glance at her grasping face. All the while, she never saw theirs.

Basically let's start with a hello,

I probably won't be doing many of these aurthor notes, partly because I wouldn't know what to write, also because I doubt anything would be interesting enough to read.
I'm sure you're probably thinking by this point, oh awesome another mermaid story. But don't worry, this with any luck won't be like any you've read. It'll be kick ass, and awesome. And while I can't promise to stay away from the few cliques that may arise, such as this opening. I can promise you that a Bryan Fuller fan such as myself won't have an every day story.
Let's just hope I don't have as my taxidermy, or deaths for that matter.

And here I'll leave you, enjoy the story.
