"Phoenix! You gotta get up honey! It's your first day of school!" My mom called for me. Like she said: it's my first day of school. I'm not excited for it at all. Why would I be? All of the other schools I've been to sucked. I've always been bullied everywhere else. What makes my mom and dad think that Arcadia High will be any different?
Anyway, it's not like I can fake sick to get out of school now. I've done that too many times. I got up, getting dressed.

I went downstairs, getting some strawberries and yogurt for breakfast. I said goodbye to Mom and Dad before heading out the door.
I put on my headphones, Listening to some music.
I guess music's my escape from reality. It's like having someone to keep me company all the time. After all, I barely had any friends growing up, and my parents were always at work, so I'd be alone all the time.
I suddenly tripped on God knows what and fell. My headphones fell off and crashed onto the ground. "Ow! Crap!" I got on my knees and picked up my headphones. A few new scratches, but nothing concerning. They are kind of old and beaten up anyway. I also scraped up my arm quite badly. Fortunately, I had some bandages in my first aid kit for it.
"Hey, are you ok?" I turned around and saw two guys standing there, maybe around my age. "Uh, yeah, I just fell, that's all." I answered him. "Although I scraped up my arm, but It's alright." I reassured them. The one guy gave me his hand, pulling me up. "Thanks!" "You're welcome! My name's Gaege." "And My name's Eddie." The other guy introduced himself. "M-My Name's Phoenix. Phoenix Woods." I introduced myself. "Cool name." Eddie commented. "Thanks!" I replied. "Do you... Wanna... Walk with us?" Gaege asked me. "Sure!" I answered him, walking with them.
