Suddenly, we heard two tiny feet running towards the door with a bit of giggling and laughing at the same time. Once they halted to a stop, they were standing right beside me with their heads looking up at Charlotte.

"Parker, who she?" Peyton asked while pointing at her.

"Boys, this is Charlotte. She will be taking care of you for tonight because your Mum and I have somewhere to go to but don't worry, we won't be too long," I assured them. "Well, I guess I should get going. We're running a little late," I stated to Charlotte while taking a look at the clock.

"Bye Parker!" Luke exclaimed surprising me by wrapping his arms around my legs. Peyton followed suit right after.

I smiled down at the two boys. They were very hard not to love. I admit that I had absolutely fallen in love with them. I was already traipsing on dangerous territory. Eleanor made it clear, and so did I that she does not want the boys and I getting closer. That closeness between a father and son to be precise.

"Goodnight, sir. I'll make sure to take care of the boys for you and Ms. Eleanor," she responded smiling snapping me out of my thoughts.

"Bye buddies," I replied kissing the top of their heads before Charlotte ushering them back into their bedrooms.

Once I reached the limo outside of the house, the driver held the door for me and I stepped in anxiously waiting for Eleanor to join me. After a few moments all to myself, the door suddenly opened and in came my wife. She sat down next to me while fixing her dress which got caught with her heels.

"Here, let me help you with that," I told her while bending down.

"Thanks, but I've got it," she replied stuttering.

I ignored her and finished helping her out with her dress malfunction. After that problem was solved, everything went downhill from there. The driver started the limo and Eleanor and I said nothing to each other for a couple of minutes. I bet this was because of the kiss, wasn't it, I told myself. I took a glance at Eleanor who was staring out the window. hands on her lap while biting her bottom lip. Huh, she usually does that when she gets nervous.

"So," I decided to speak up first and try to break the ice breaker between us once again. "On a scale of one to ten, what did you think of the kiss? I'd have to give it an eight. After a couple months of us not kissing, it was a bit off. I think we should practice some more."

I watched the blush creep up on her face like I knew it would. "Want to know what I think? I think that kissing is off limits for us." Before I could say anymore, she continued on. "So, where is the party going to take place exactly?" she asked nervously not making eye contact with me.

"Well, it's going to be in a ballroom at one of the most fanciest hotels in London, The Connaught. I think you'll love it. The hallways look very elegant with gold and silver designs on the walls with the best services and food in town. Honestly, it feels like you're in a gigantic castle," I stated grinning widely bragging about the hotel. "Ready for our first appearance as a married couple?"

"No, but I'm guessing I have no choice," she remarked pointing outside the window with her mouth hanging open in awe. "Better sooner than later." Eleanor mumbled afterwards.

"I guess we best be going," I grinned and the door was opened on my side by the chauffeur. Flashes from photographers started to blind my eyes. I stood beside the open door holding my hand out to Eleanor. She gently placed her soft hand which was surprisingly sweat-free seeing as she was a nervous wreck.

"Sir Jenkins! Is that your wife?"

"Who is the lady?"

"Thoughts on being the new CEO of British Airways?"
