Satan walked out and saw the scene. His eyes crinkled in amusement at his brothers who sat there perfectly content with being pet. Satan was pretty sure Belphie fell back to sleep seeing as he made Y/N's lap his new resting place for the moment. He presented Y/N their cup of tea and Y/N ceased their petting to grab it, thankful for the warm beverage. 

Belphie's eyes opened missing Y/N's touch. He focused his attention on them. Levi just continued to lean on their knee. Satan sat beside them on the couch. 

"Who made you cry Y/N?" Belphie asked with a serious expression. 

Y/N finished their tea and placed their cup carefully on the coffee table. "It's stupid." They stated embarrassed that they were seen crying and running away from the party. "I was hoping no one would catch me like this. Now I'm embarrassed." They groaned pinching the bridge of their nose. 

"Weren't you with Asmo the whole time?" Satan pointed out.

"I was." 

"Was he the one that made you cry? Did he try to do something to you?" Belphie angrily asked. His purple eyes grew furious. Y/N hurried to expel that accusation.

"N-no! He didn't do anything like that."

"Y/N, if something happened we need to know about it. Y-you're scaring us here." Levi responded. 

Y/N sighed and finally told them everything that happened. About how much Asmo begged them to join the party and be with him. About him claiming they'd be all his. Only to see him swarmed by female demons desperately seeking his affections and seemingly forgetting all about them.

"Jerk." Levi muttered.

"So you like Asmo?" Belphie asked.

"Y-yeah. I do." Y/n played with their fingers as they spoke the words out loud. 

Satan furrowed his brows. He couldn't believe Asmo would do something like that. He knew Asmo was crazy about Y/N. They practically did everything together and can always be seen together. Sure he was a flirt, but he wouldn't play with Y/N's heart. Would he?

"It doesn't matter though."

"What do you mean by that?" Belphie asked.

Y/N just shook their head in quiet response. "Please don't say anything about this to the others, especially Asmo. Thanks for keeping me company guys. I'm going to go to bed." 

Belphie sat up and Y/N rose and strolled out the living room.

All three looked at each other and watched Y/N's retreating figure feeling bad.

When Asmo came home he was frantic, not having seen Y/N at the party. He searched the whole castle and asked around, but got no answer. He came across his three brothers and asked if they saw Y/N. 

Satan covered for Y/N as the other two stood silent. Levi felt awkward about the situation and didn't know how to act. Belphie just glared at Asmo from under his bangs. 

"Y/N wasn't feeling well, so we offered to escort them home. They went to bed." 

"Oh?" Asmo's brows scrunched up as his eyes became sad. "Why didn't they come get me? I would've gladly took care of them. I'll just go check up on them real quick." Asmo made to go to Y/N's room. 

Satan stopped Asmo by tugging him back. "Just leave them be Asmo. They need rest."

Asmo frowned unpleased. "I feel so bad. Please let me see them." Asmo looked at Satan with puppy eyes.
