I stood at my front door, Steve-O standing by his bike in front of me. "It was really great to meet you, Tabitha. We should do this again sometime." He smiled softly at me. I couldn't help but blush.
"Thank you! Same goes to you. It was an honor to get to know you." I smiled shyly and him and nodded. He spread his arms to hug me, and I didn't have to think twice. I hugged him and felt his arms wrap around me tightly. He smelled soooo gooooood. Ok yeah maybe that sounded a bit weird, but he seriously did. I pulled away a few seconds later and looked at him. He smiled shyly when we made eye contact. I turned and grabbed my doorknob, then turned back to him when he spoke again.
"We should do this again sometime." He paused. "Hey, could I have your number? I know I asked earlier but I mean.." He laughed nervously. I grinned and shook my head.
"Give me your hand and your pen and you got a deal." I laughed as he quickly handed me his pen. I wrote down my home phone number and my cell phone number on his hand, then gave him his pen back. "Merry Christmas." I joked.
"Thank you, Santa!" He exclaimed like a small child who was sitting on a Mall Santa's lap. I couldn't help but laugh. "I'll text you when I get home, unless you text me before then." I nodded and he waved goodbye and rode off.
I couldn't believe what had happened. Going out today was probably one of the best decisions I had ever made, seriously. I stepped inside my house and sighed before checking my phone. 9:00 PM. Wow, we rode for quite a while. I yawned and walked into my room and sat down, scrolling through Twitter. Maybe I should tweet a few fans. Seeing their tweets explode in excitement was always a fun thing to watch. It made me laugh a lot. I smiled and put my phone on the charger before standing up and walking into my closet, picking out some pajama pants and an oversized tee. Finally, time to take a shower and relax. I walked into the bathroom and took a hot shower, thoughts blowing through my mind. When I got out fifteen minutes later, I put on my clothes and dried my hair before walking back into my bedroom. Yay, me time. I lit some candles and grabbed TV remote, before sitting down and watching Nitro Circus. I loved these guys, but they were absolutely INSANE! I mean, come on. Who jumps from one skyscraper to another on big wheels? Well, other than them. I have no idea how one of them haven't died yet. Then my phone vibrated. I picked it up, knowing who it would be. It was Steve-O.
"Hey, I'm home."
I texted back about a minute later.
"Awesome. You didn't get jumped or anything, right? Lmao."
"Hahah you know it dude. People do it every chance they get."
"Aw damn, sucks for you!"
"Fucking right?! hahahahaha"
"Basically, they can't resist."
"didn't know I was that sexy."
"LMAO. The more you know."
"Hahahaha! Yo, I was wondering if you were up for hanging out again sometime. I'm free whenever, so I mean if you wanna hang out anytime I'm just a text away."
"I'll keep that in mind :) I'm free whenever as well, so same goes to you. Maybe this weekend or something?"
"Yeah dude, that sounds rad. Wanna meet at the bottom of the mountain again but go hiking and take a different trail?"
"Sounds awesome to me! What time?"
"Does 1 PM sound alright to you?"
"Hell yeah! I'll see you then. :)"
"Alright! Sounds like a plan"
And there it was, we were gonna end up hanging out again for a majority of the day. This was gonna be fucking awesome. I set my phone down and couldn't stop smiling like a complete idiot. I seriously didn't want to have to wait until this weekend. Okay, yeah. It was only Thursday, but so what? I was hanging out with Steve-O. I mean, who wouldn't be excited about that? I just hoped that I wouldn't somehow scare him off. I wanted to be really good friends with him, after all, he was a pretty laid back dude. I yawned and laid down on my bed, exhausted. I hadn't realized how tired I was until now. I slowly drifted off into my own world, falling asleep with ease.
