Chapter 1 - It Starts Here

Percy POV

We won, but not without loss. There were 2 deaths that affected all of us the most though we believe that the first person may be alive. They were Leo Valdez, Son of Hephaestus and my first love, the one who stole my breath whenever I saw her, Annabeth Chase ( You all know what happened to Leo so I won't discuss that here). She saved us all. We thought that Leo Piper and Jason put Gaia to sleep but we underestimated her. In her last few seconds when all the Gods and demigods were present, every single one, she cast a spell that made my life miserable. She twirled the mist with her essence that took her last bit of energy.

Flashback

I saw Annabeth in Gaia's grasp. Her scared eyes made me kill the whole Earth. But I was useless. Gaia had used the Earth to hold me down but at a place where I could see her tear the heart of my Wise Girl. She was gone, forever. Her last words were," I love you Seaweed Brain. Move on.". "How can I ?", I thought with despair. She was my love, my heart, my heartbeat, my everything. And now she was gone. Then I felt a feeling so strong that even the gods would be afraid by it. Rage. With newfound strength I destroyed the part of Earth that was holding me down and I saw the face of Gaia and in her eyes.....I saw fear. I liked that. I summoned all the rage in my hand and I saw something I was not expecting, I saw fire. But this was not any fire. It was constantly changing color. I looked at it and without a moments hesitation threw it at Gaia. It got her hand and she screamed as if someone had thrown the most powerful acid multiplied by 10000x times and then as I saw her I realized that her hand was gone and the only remnant was the dust that signified that she ever had the hand. Gaia looked at it expectantly and then had a look of confusion. She could not reform it. Then I had an idea. I made a fireball of the same substance but much much much much more larger and then maniacally laughing said something that gave shivers down her spine. "You are going back into sleep for a long time, which means......forever." And I crashed it down on her and she screamed even more painfully then the last time. There was an explosion and when the smoke died out I saw dust and a flower signifying that there was once a time when there used to be a primordial named Gaia. I looked around to find my father and friends and all the other Gods looking at me with many emotions(negative) in their eyes. There was shock sadness, ignorance, disbelief, disgust, annoyance but there was one prominent in all of their eyes, anger.

Poseidon POV

I looked at my favorite son being stranded with Annabeth and Gaia. Then a scene took place in front of us that made all of us feel as if our eyes had been made play another scene. We saw Percy look at Annabeth with malice in her eyes and how he took Riptide and kill her with one swift moment. We saw Gaia praise him and told him that he had done a great job. He looked indifferent and looked at Gaia with the same look and laughing evilly told her that he is going to kill her as well. With shock in all of our and Gaia's face we saw how Percy summoned a fire in his hand that kept changing color, and I recognized it. It was the Elemental Fire, something only Lord Chaos can wield. We saw him kill.....no.....fade Gaia and then look at all of us with a look of annoyance. Then as if we were all punched in our gut we saw Percy, my son look at us.

Third Person POV

Percy looked at the Gods and demigods when all of them closed their eyes at the same time and open it again. Without a moments hesitation Athena screamed a war cry and charged at Percy screaming bloody murder. Then one at a time all of the Gods seemed to break out of their daze and then attack the Hero of Olympus. Apollo and Artemis kept on shooting him in his legs and hands whereas Hermes quickly binded him with a godly rope and Athena thrust her spear in his gut and looked at him. The last thing Percy heard was before his father knocked him out was Athena whisper him," That's what you get for murdering my daughter.
