THE SCRIPT

A 36

My mind is crazy. I grabbed my hair and pulled it upwards. My head felt heavy. The stranger I met unexpectedly is looking at me.
 
‘Hm, Crocodile, how come you’re here?’
 
Have I brought you to my room?
 
I don’t remember if I brought this toy or not.
 
What’s happening to me? Am I going crazy or am I already crazy? I think I should go and meet a psychiatrist. I know I’m in many unsolvable problems. I jumped on the bed and squashed my head on the pillow.

Another day has come. My mind is still occupied with the events that happened yesterday. I must go to the storeroom area to see if there are any footsteps.

When I went there, I didn’t see anything. Then I checked the gate and there were no changes as well. I was annoyed and went inside the home with a lot of stress. I went to the bathroom and went under the shower as I couldn’t take this anymore. After a long time, I noticed I was still under the shower. I know everything is a puzzle. I must solve this. While thinking like that, I came to the room and got ready with a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. I felt a strong pain coming from the back of my ribs. With that pain, I didn’t feel to eat anything. I went towards my car, I started it and off I went.

‘Sorry doctor, with my situation, I just can’t follow what you said.’ I told myself and increased the speed.

I drove to A36 bar even without my consent. When I was about to park, I saw from the side mirror a waiter was looking at me surprisingly. I got off the car and went towards him.

‘Why? Do I look like a ghost to you?’ I asked aggressively.

He also looked at me with shock and apologized and went.

When he responded, I felt as if I was brought back to reality.

‘Why did I speak like that to that poor guy?’ I asked myself.

I shouldn’t show my inner stresses to the outer world.

I ordered a coffee and a croissant and sat on a chair. In a few moments, the order was served and I ate.

When I was finished eating I saw the manager of the bar was coming towards me.

‘Good morning Sir, I’m surprised you are here in the morning. Well, I have an invitation for you.’

When he said that I looked at him surprised.

‘Ok, what is it?’ I asked him and I got to know that they have organized a party to celebrate their 25th anniversary and they wanted to invite me.

I said ok. But I didn’t promise him. But I would like to participate. I thought I would be able to meet my friends after a long time.

I bid farewell to him and drove back home.

I went to my office room. Because by that time I had missed a lot of work. I started watching the shots of the movie I was about to finish. Time was running. I heard a notification sound from my laptop. For a moment I took my eyes away from the shot and looked at the laptop.

‘Oh, Elisa Parker!’ I opened her message while I said her name to myself.

I started reading it word by word.

‘‘A dark rainy night. Friends are driving fast while listening to music and talking. One is increasing the volume. Another is laughing loudly. There were no vehicles on the road. They are driving as if it was their kingdom. They noticed a girl on the road as their headlights were on. They passed the girl but stopped the car and reversed it and stopped near the girl. The girl was frightened and she started walking fast. They turned on the lights in the car and one person tried to talk to her.
