Action!

‘Well it’s time!’ I told to myself as it was time to dismiss all the students because we were done for the day. For a moment before I did that, I looked at the students and I noticed they are already weary because of all the mental baggage they had to carry each day after the lessons... I remembered my university time and I smiled to myself and soon I let those birds free of the cage without any further delay.

‘Ok, then see you guys tomorrow and make sure to hand over the assignments by this Friday. Have a good day!’

I saw the relief on the faces of all the students as those words came out of my mouth.

Now as I’ve done with my job for the day it was time to go for the shooting which would begin in a few hours. Apart from being a movie director I enjoyed teaching too. I am happy that I was lucky enough to land on two jobs that I love and enjoy.

 I went to the restaurant nearby the university and ordered myself a Caesar salad. While I was eating, I remembered the calm friend-time I got to spend with John yesterday. It meant a lot after all the weird things that’d been happening with me lately.

As I’ve finished eating, I paid the bill and sent the shooting location to John so he could come directly there.

‘Ok I’ll be there!’ As usual I received his prompt reply. It was really satisfying to never have to wait for his response. He is really an available friend. I made sure to do the same.

I put on some nice music to accompany myself while I was driving for the set. It was located a bit far from the university which I worked. It was an hour drive from there.

As I’ve entered into the highway, I was a bit happy as I could drive faster now. Driving fast has been my favourite since I was young. I drove for about half an hour on the highway and it was time to exit. As I exited from the highway I turned my car into another road which I haven’t driven before. It was a beautiful and a calm road but it also contained some mysteriousness.

As I drove forward, I had to stop and the traffic lights. I stretched my neck and arms a bit as I had a little break because of the traffic light. While I was doing that I saw a familiar face but I was not sure where or who I saw. It was a messy girl. Even though she was messy, I kind of wanted to get to know her because I liked her driving style.

I woke up from all the drifting away from the honking of the car behind me and I saw it was already green so I hurried to clear the way and continued my journey to the location.

As I reached the location, it seemed even prettier than it was on the video that George sent me.

‘Wow!’ the word just slipped from my mouth with the amazement the view brought me.

The cold breeze that blew my way took away the weariness I’ve been carrying all these days. It was like as if it was singing a song to me. Slowly I walked where the set was and as I walked I saw the calm waves were crawling to the shore as if a child would crawl to her mother. I felt my legs were slowly sinking into the sand as I walked. I looked around and I noticed there was a pine forest about 100 meters from the set and also there was a tumbledown house just near that. That view brought a strange feeling to me. I didn’t like that.

‘Hey man, there you are. So, do you like the location?’ George asked me as he noticed that I was checking out the location.

‘Yes buddy, this is great! You did a good job. So, is everything ready for the shoot’ is everyone present? Lights, cameraman, actors and all?’

‘Yeah everything is ready except Sonia. We have to wait for her. But she will be here soon. Then we will be good to go.’

‘Why she’s not come yet? Have you tried to reach her? Don’t tell me you haven’t’
