-"but i'm right here?"
///

in the middle of the pitch black night, being alone in your house was scary, especially if there was a really bad thunderstorm outside. you were snuggled up in your bed, as your boyfriend was at his own dorm, so you two were separated. out of all the times, why did you guys have to be separated now? you usually did your work around midnight when winwin wasn't around-which was a habit you were working on getting out of-so thats why you were awake. although the thunder scared you, so you just stopped and stayed in your bed. you did have one solution that always worked when it was scary and you and winwin were separated- you watched funny videos of winwin and his friends.

they were like a comedy show for free right in front of you.

you turned on your phone, going to your camera roll to started watching a video, then you suddenly felt a gush of hunger.

getting out of your comfy bed, you ran through your empty and dark house, down to the kitchen. rummaging through the snacks, you couldn't find anything. thats when you remembered you were supposed to go shopping in the morning. you groaned and smacked your face with your cold hand. first you don't have winwin, and then you don't have snacks? whats next, you wouldn't be able to watch any videos?

maybe that was right, as you looked at your phone battery- 20%. you couldn't charge your phone anyway, because the power was out.

"this day is really the death of me." you muttered, but turned on your phone again once you thought of something.

why didn't you just call winwin? he was sometimes awake at this time-you had to at least try.

you scrolled through your contacts list, searching for winwin's. you dialed him, waiting for him to pick up.

"sicheng?" you said through your phone.

"[y/n]? why are you up?" you heard him ask through the phone, with a concerned tone in his voice.

"oh, i was just doing work. and the storm scared me. its hard to sleep without you." you explained.

"i would come over, but like-i can't."

"i know, its fine."

"do you want me to stay on the phone with you?"

"i'd like that too, but my phone is about to die."

"this would be so much more easier if lucas didn't invite me." you heard him sigh through the speakers.

"am i annoying?" you asked.

"of course not [y/n], you mean the world to me."

"ok sure, like you don't love ten more than me."

"ten says hes jealous of you though"

"tell him i'm jealous of him. my phone is about to die sicheng, i'll hang up now."

"okay, stay safe and i'll see what i can do. i love you!"

"i love you too," you snickered, as you hung up.

seeing as your phone was now at 10%, you decided you should stay off your phone-even if that meant no watching funny videos of your friends.

you thought this was a good time to clean up your room a bit, as it had gotten messy since you hadn't really gotten the time to clean up. regardless the time, you got to cleaning your room, and maybe parts of your house too.

"wh-huh?" you picked up your head and looked around at the familiar surroundings.

"did i fall asleep?" you asked yourself, followed with a sigh.

"i wish sicheng was here." you frowned.

"but i'm right here?" you heard the voice behind you, nearly knocking you out your chair.

"wh- when did you get here?!" you exclaimed and got up from your chair, looking ready to fight.

"relax, [y/n]," winwin said, getting up from the bed, coming to hug you.

"but seriously, when and how did you get here?" you hugged him back.

"lets just say i took the easy route." he chuckled, resting his head on yours.

"but you could have gotten in an accident, or worse!"

"that why kun brought me here and not lucas."

"thank god."

"lets go to sleep."

"but its 6am!" you got out of his embrace.

"so? its raining and its dark outside, it seems like nighttime to me." you pursed his lips looking out the window.

"you know what, i'm tired anyway."
