Spilling the tea

(Firstly thank you for 3k reads, 🥺secondly I just read in another life, and I'm crying my heart out while typing this😭. Nobody told me it would be that sad🤧 n e ways on to the chapter)

Izumi POV

Eri

Eri

My little sister Eri. The girl who probably couldn't keep a secret to save her life. That Eri just saw me and Hawks...kiss. 'Oh no what am I gonna do? She's probably gonna tell papa, then papa is gonna tell dad, and somehow Toshi will get involved and we will have a big dead bird in our house.'

Then the door opens.

"Izu-nii what are you doing out here still." She asks slightly tilting her head to the side. 'Maybe she didn't see it'

"O-Oh nothing just thinking." I say scratching the back of my head.

"Come on inside it's kinda chilly out here." She said shivering a little

"Oh ok" I say following her into the house, but once I close the door she goes up to me with a mean look on her face. "What's wrong Eri?"

"That boy the was out there just kissed you and disappeared. How dare he! I didn't even get to say hi to him." She says pouting.

My face immediately pales. 'She knows and soon everybody will too. What do I do? She saw everything.' Then an idea pops up in my head.

"Hey Eri"

"Yes?" She says still pouting

"If you're this mad about it then the rest of the family will be too."

"Yeah so?"

"Sooo how about we keep this a secret between you and me so that everybody stays happy."

She stops pouting and starts smiling again. "That's a great idea Izu-nii. I can keep everybody happy!"

"You sure can! Now how about you go to your room and get some rest." I say smiling

"Ok then! Good night Izu-nii!" She says smiling and waving away

"Good night Eri"  I say waving goodbye 'And just like that I manipulated a 10 year old into keeping a secret. Is that bad? Nooo it's for the great or good. Heh. Heh. Maybe?' While contemplating whether or not that was a good idea I start walking to my room. 'Huh. I feel like I'm forgetting something. What could it be?'

As I start walking up the stairs to my room a light suddenly flicks on. 'Oh. That's what I forgot.' Sitting on a dark brown chair right next to a lamp is my dad, and he wasn't in his famous sleeping bag. So I knew 'This is not good.'

"Heyyyy daddd." I say stretching out my words

No response

"How was your dayyy?"

Still no response

"Welll if you'll excuse me I am very tired, I can tell we've both had a long day. So why don't we just get some rest, and I'll see you in the morning." I say starting to walk up the stairs

"Hold it right there." He says as I immediately stop walking

"Yes" I say in a high pitched squeak

"Where were you today?" He says not breaking I contact with me

"Welll y-you see I-I was hanging out with a friend?" I say scared for Hawks's life

"What friend?" He says, with his tone getting angrier.

"C-Calm down n-no need to get angry. It was just a friend...who is a-a boy" I say

"And what's this boy's na-" he gets cut off by I yell I love so much

"SHOOOTTTAAAAAA! I NEEEEED YOUUUUUUU" yelled papa

Dad turns around to direction the yell is coming from. "What do you need" he says annoyed

At this point I knew that this was I sign for me to get my butt up and out of there. I took my chance and quickly, but quietly ran up the stairs as papa talked to dad.

"I CANT FIND THE REMOTE!" He whines

I was up the stairs by now almost at my door when I heard.

"SHE ESCAPED! I WILL FIND THIS BOY" my dad yelled

I snickered and ran into my room closing the door. "Phew" I breathed out. "Well it's been a long day" I say aloud as I plop down head first onto my bed. After a good minute I get back up and change into my pajamas. "Tomorrow will be so fun" I say sarcastically, while going back to my bed and drifting off to sleep.

~The next morning~

My eyes flutter open from the sunlight shining down on me. I sit up and let out a big yawn, I then find the strength to carry myself out of my bed. I tiredly walk the down the stairs yawning every five seconds, I see Eri by herself in the kitchen making breakfast, or at least trying to.

"Good morning Eri" I say walking up to her

"Good morning Izu-nii!" She brightly smiles at me

"What are you making"

"Breakfast!"

"Umm Ok. Well then do you need some help"

"Yes please!"

"Ok let's get to work" I say putting on an apron 'good thing I got here when I did. I think she was about to cook eggs. On a pan. Without opening the shells' I mentally face palm, and start cooking.

~I'm lazy so time skip after breakfast, because I'm still sad about In Another Life😞~

During breakfasts as kept asking me about the boy I was with, and Eri came very close to telling but luckily she kept our promise.

I head upstairs to my room avoiding my dad's questions about yesterday, I get out my phone to FaceTime Mina, because I already know that she wants the tea. I hit the call button and after a few rings she answers.

"Heyyyy Izumi" the bright pink girl says excitedly

"Heyyy Mina" I say returning the energy

"Sooooo spill. I want to know everything and every detail. Leave nothing out." She says sipping tea that came out of nowhere.

"Ok so-" I start explaining the whole date and how it went, then I got to the part when he dropped me off at home.

"So you guys were about to kiss but got interrupted by a phone call. Wowww" she says leaning in drinking more tea

"Right! We had a moment, but I had to go back home or my dad was gonna kill me. So he flew us to my house then while I was distracted making sure nobody was around he..."

"He what? Come on don't be shy say some more!"

"He kissed me" I say in a hushed tone

"HE WHATT!" She says excitedly

Then my door harshly opens.

"HE WHAT." My older brother Toshi says

"Heh...heh... he what?" I say say scared of what will happen next.

That's it for the this chapter sorry it took so long. It's kinda short, but I will update soon. Now if you'll excuse me I gonna go dig a hole and reread in another life😃. Byeee✌🏾
