I cannot help but keep asking myself this question. What is considered to be a normal life? Is it living a life where nothing eventful happens throughout one's life? Or is it one when you spend your whole life with your loved ones? Either way I still don't understand why society keeps pushing the term "normal" to describe a person's behavior and life.

Different places around the world have different cultures and opinions of what "normal" should be. For example, the public opinion of that college 'is the only way to succeed in life.' People that do not go through college are labeled failures due to society enforcing what normal people should go through to be successful in their lives.

But is that entirely true? I have my doubts. If we look at the most successful people around, most of them didn't go through the "normal" path of success that is supposedly the only way. No matter what people say is normal at the end of the day it depends on the person's own perception of what normal should be.

So my answer would be, 'It differs between individuals.' In any case, we are human beings that are capable enough to think on our own.

It's already April which means that the school entrance ceremony will be held today. I rode the bus to school. I was busy looking outside of my window seat, I decided to look around at my surroundings, and the bus started to pick up more passengers. Most of them were wearing the same type of uniform as me.

There was an unsteady elderly lady that stood there a few seats behind me, her legs were shaking so bad that I thought they were having a seizure. Considering how packed this bus was, I was fortunate enough to find a seat with no problems.

I figured to leave the elderly woman alone since it wasn't my problem. As I was about to look away, I heard someone say.

"Excuse me, but shouldn't you offer up your seat to this elderly woman?"

Why can't I have a peaceful bus ride to school? Something always has to happen when you least expect it. I should've gone to sleep as soon as I got into my seat.

She was talking to a young, well-built blond man of high school age that was sitting in one of the priority seats. I got intrigued on what he would do. The elderly woman stood right next to him, and another woman stood beside her. The second, younger lady appeared to be an office worker.

"Hey, you there. Can't you see that this elderly woman is having trouble." the office lady said.

She seemed to want the young man to offer up his seat. Her voice carried quite well throughout the quiet bus, attracting served people's attention.

"That's a really crazy question," the boy said.

Those words were good enough to know that he would not give up his seat. I could either let this go on or give up my seat to avoid it from escalating into something else.

Before either of them could speak I stood up from my seat and said "I could give up my seat if you don't mind."

Almost everyone turned their attention towards me looking at me with relieved expressions. Except for the blond boy, he didn't even bother to look at me. Which I couldn't care less about. I didn't do it out of the kindness of my heart nor for the attention, to me as long they would both shut their damn mouths and stay quiet for the rest of the ride I would have no problems.

They're making a big deal of something so minor. If he doesn't want to give it up then stop making a whole scene. Nobody wants to hear this early in the day. Especially that girl over there, she could have been the one to give up her seat instead of asking someone else. It would have been a very simple thing to do and there wouldn't have been any need for the unnecessary argument.

"Are you sure about it, sir?"

"It's all good, I don't mind giving my seat to the elderly woman."

"Thank you very much!" Said the elderly woman and the office lady.

The elderly woman expressed her gratitude repeatedly, and slowly sat on my seat. I was now standing up in this crowded bus, which I particularly didn't mind. Hopefully nobody bothers me for the rest of the trip. While the rest of the ride was quiet and peaceful, I felt a bit worn out since I haven't slept in days.

Having to do that does tire you out a bit. Eh, I'll be able to sleep in a few more days until we get our dorms. They do have dorms, right? I mean if we're going to stay there for three years they might as well let us have a dorm room. Hopefully it doesn't take too long to get one.

After the bus had arrived at the destination snapping me back from my thoughts. I decided to wait for half of the students to leave before I did so myself. A few minutes later I stepped out of the bus and started to head towards the gate of the school. My new school life will b-

My eyes widened at the same time I stopped dead in my tracks, my body froze up on me. If I was going to compare how I was right now it would be like a living statue. I couldn't move...no..I just couldn't believe what I was seeing with my own pair of eyes. Was I too tired? Maybe I was imagining the whole thing? My mind went blank, I couldn't gather my thoughts properly. The last time I felt like this was back when I was there.

I quickly regained my composure and was about to head somewhere, but something unexpected happened. Someone grabbed my uniform sleeve.
