Hello everyone!!

I am so glad you have clicked on my story, and I truly hope you enjoy it. I loved writing every second of it so far, and I can't wait to see how the story unfolds.

This book is inspired by a train ride I took one day. It made me think of all the different individual people who surrounded me and how each of them had their own unique story - a story that I would never know about. Were they heading to work? Or maybe visiting an old friend? Are they stressed, angry, exhilarated, or maybe sad? It fascinated me, and I knew I wanted to incorporate it into a book.

I really wanted to encapsulate the idea that everyone has their own story along with the idea of strangers and how we see so many people that we never see again.

After a bit of thought, I realized that a perspective swap was the perfect way to illustrate my idea. If I could bounce back and forth between the viewpoint of two strangers both living completely separate lives, I could really emphasize the true concept of strangers that I was aiming for.

I've named each chapter after whoever's perspective I am writing from to make the swap more clear. I apologize for not writing an author note earlier but I didn't really know what to say so I put it off. I just recently re-read what I have written so far for "The Little Things" and I realized that the perspective swap isn't incredibly clear.

For those of you who have read this book already: I hope you caught onto the swap quick enough to really experience the story to its fullest.

It is so amazing to read all of your stories and I am equally grateful that you have taken the time to read mine! Please, leave feedback if you have it! I love to hear what you all have to say.

Thanks!
