'I just want to pull you out, but you've gotten what you wanted!' My mum cried. She'd put up with my tears for three years, it was too long. Night after night, either trying to hide everything while having her hugging me or hiding it and breaking down in my bedroom. Every night for three years.

'And what's that?' I asked her.

'Your leadership.' She was right, it was what I had wanted my whole life. I hesitated.

'I don't care anymore.'
