Zero : even though it has no weapons, it has built in shielding to prevent danger, the shield itself should be strong enough to tank atleast one Shiva-class Nuclear bomb. However it sacrifices speed and manueverability to achieve such a feat

XO : the enemy ship has reduced its speed, general
Plo Koon : they must have realized that we are tracking them
XO : the fleet is holding its positions sir
Plo : i'd think it'd be wise to report our position, before we attack
They began to walk away from the windows
XO : Skywalker's fleet is nearby, in the Bith system
Plo : good, perhaps he can reinforce us
XO : *scoff* from what i hear, Skywalker's always ready for a fight
Plo : so i've heard
Plo Koon walks up to a table, pressing a few buttons a hologram appears
On the table appears both Skywalker, and his padawan
Plo Koon and Asoka exchange greetings
During their conversation, Plo koon was able to transmit the finding of the mystery weapon
However, right after Anakin had told Plo Koon about having to report to the council, the transmission soon cut out
The XO began to try fix it, however whatever was interfering with the transmission was not easy to fix
Plo Koon : what's wrong with the transmission?
XO : there's too much interference sir, we've lost 'em
Clone trooper : the enemy ship is closing in!
Plo : prepare for battle!
While the droids were activating all necessary system to fire there secret weapon, on the Republic ship, we could see Plo Koon and his XO near a table
XO : sir, we're picking up a large energy reading from the enemy ship
Plo Koon : open fire!
XO : we're not in range yet sir
Hearing a loud electric sound coming towards them, a large circle shaped electric beam could be seen heading towards their ships
Plo Koon : BRACE FOR IMPACT!
The field of sorts passed through their ships, frying there circuits
XO : we're losing all our power!
The ship shook as laser fire hit the ship
XO : THAT ENERGY FIELD HAD LEFT US DEFENCELESS!
The blaring sound from the alarms were heard as the ships took major damage from the Malevolence's side guns
The Malevolence's cannons shredded through their ships
XO : THERE TEARING US APART, ONE BY ONE!
Through the windows they could see there two others ships exploding, killing most of the personnel that hadn't gotten into life pods
Plo Koon : QUICKLY, INTO THE PODS!
Outside the ship we could see it taking hits from the Malevolence, however it wouldn't last much longer
Back with the jedi, we could see him call his troopers into pods, telling them to hurry
The scene change to see many pods able to escape in time, but not all were lucky enough, they looked out the window to see their giant ship being destroyed
The three Venator-Class ships were nothing more but debris
