help me help you 2 // huey

you went through his drawers collecting every last piece of clothing that belonged to you

you placed it into a bag and begin walking out , to your surprise there huey was on his way heading into the house

you looked down to your feet avoiding eye contact with him

he stopped in his tracks noticing you leave , his eyes followed you as you hopped into the car

"go go go..." you told your sister not wanting to see him anymore

you checked the time , reading 1:37am across your screen, you were tired of bindge watching random youtube videos

you decided to take a walk hoping it would at least drain a bit of your energy

you grabbed your keys and left your house
you started walking with no exact destination

it was so quiet , you were able to hear your own breathing .. this time of night was your favorite part of the day

you never noticed how dark it was at night, only being able to see a couple feet in front of you , the rest just seemed pitch black

after about 20 minutes of walking and trying to clear your head , a sports car pulls up next to you

your first instinct was to run .. but you didn't once you heard his voice
"y/n it's late why are you out..?" huey asked

"i should be asking you the same thing.." you mumbled and continued to walk
him slowly driving by your side

"i couldn't sleep.." he sighed

at this point your feet were starting to ache from walking this long, you were starting to get sleepy too

"that's nice.." you didn't really want to talk to him , afraid he would come and say all this love shit when you were finally getting over him

he groaned "fuck.. get in the car y/n"
he told you as he looked over at you

you shrugged "i'm fine where i am.."

"please.." he seemed genuine , you knew he cared about you

you decided to take up on his offer since your feet were already hurting no need to make yourself suffer

he stopped the car as he seen you turn around , you came to the other side of the car and hopped in he then began driving
it was quiet at first, both of you not saying a word unsure of what to say to each other

"i'm sorry.." he let out as one of his hands held his head up and the other on the stirring wheel

you rolled your eyes , you didn't want to hear a weak ass apology you felt he showed his true colors "k.."

"y/n , don't be like that..."

you kept quiet watching the road in front of you , you knew he hated one sided conversations

he sighed "damn it.. look i made a mistake i didn't realize how much i loved you until you were gone.."

you looked over at him amused by what he was saying , him actually telling you how he felt

"i can't sleep without you y/n it hurts knowing you could've been in my arms but you're off doing god knows what.."

huey didn't usually talk about how he felt
but with you he felt it was needed , he really loved you

"i'm not asking for you to get back with me , but at least talk to me again .. i made a huge mistake messing up with you
you're probably the best thing that's happened to me and i'm so sorry for realizing so damn late." he said as he gripped the stirring wheel

you looked down at your shoes , you couldn't hate him for what he did..
truth was you missed him.. more than you thought being without him did nothing but made you realize how much you loved him

huey took your silence as rejection, he sighed stopping the car "sorry.. i shouldn't have pus—"

you shut him up by placing your lips on his
you thought you might regret it later but you didn't care , you wanted this , you wanted him

you missed his kisses the most

he immediately kissed you back placing his hand on the side of your face

he pulled away resting his head onto yours
"i love you.." you whispered
