"I told you they wouldn't get you" he says, she smiled at him and with that he left her dream and pulled her out of it too.

While klaus opens his eyes calmly, Sierra wakes up with a gasp. She sits up and looks around before her eyes land on klaus, tears gather in her eyes as he gets in the bed with her and pulls her into his arms.

"It's okay, it was just a dream sweetheart. You're okay, you're safe." He says as he brushes his fingers through her hair, she turns her head towards his neck and breathes in deeply. There was something oddly calming about his scent, she calmed down as nik placed a light kiss on top of her head.

"Are you sure that it was just a dream?" Sierra asked softly, klaus didn't know how to answer that. He didn't know if it was actually just a dream, so he stayed quiet. They stayed like that and after a while, Sierra had fallen back asleep. He had moved to lay them both down but klaus, he couldn't fall asleep after that so he just held her and ran his hands through her hair.

He watches as light slowly starts to pour into the room through the cracks of the curtains. Eventually she started to stir and she slowly woke up, he watches as her eyes flutter and squint slightly because of the light. He chuckles when she buries her face into his chest, the sound makes her look up at him.

"Good morning." She says softly, her voice a bit gravelly. He smiles down at her and pushes a strand of hair behind her ear.

"Good morning, love."

"Where are we going today?" She asks and gets up from the bed. He watches her as she carefully and slowly gets up, she looks back at him waiting for an answer.

"We are going to Chicago" he says with a grin. She walks over to the bag of clothes that nik got her and grabs some items before walking into the bathroom. "But not before we all have had breakfast!" He yells after her and hears her sigh.

He waits for her to come out of the bathroom again but she is taking an awfully long time. When he focuses his hearing on the girl in the bathroom he hears her sniffle, her breathing is irregular and then suddenly, he's smelling blood. Immediately he shoots up from the bed and speeds over to the bathroom.

"Sierra? Are you okay? what's going on, love?" He asks and knocks on the door. He hears some shuffling before she responds.

"Everything is fine, nik" she says but sniffles right after. He keeps knocking and asking her to open the door, he can still smell blood and it doesn't ease his worries in the  slightest.

"Come on, Sierra. Open the door, please. I can smell blood and I need to know you're okay." He says, he knows that this bathroom door doesn't have a lock but he won't come barge in. He wanted her to opens the door and let him in but if he has to open the door himself if necessary than he will.

"No nik, it's fine, it's nothing for you to worry about" she says but klaus had enough of this so he opened the door. He looks at her and sees her sitting on the ground, in her underwear and her thighs are covered in cuts and blood. His eyes tear up as he looks at her, tear tracks clear on her face and her stomach was sunken in.

"Oh, darling.." he says and watches as she quickly tries to cover herself up. He walks over to her and pulls her in his arms, when he looks at her like this he can see what Elijah meant by her being as fragile as a bomb. Her ribs are so prominent and her hipbones are jutting out, she's literally just skin and bones.

"I- I tried to stop this, I really did." She hiccuped as he looked at her bloody thighs, they're were covered in older but also more recent scars and cuts. A tear rolls down niks cheek as he hears how broken her voice sounds, she is so broken, shattered into pieces.
