- [ ] you walk into your next class only to realize you have it with akaashi again. you smile and think to yourself " yes!, i get another class with him!! " * time skip ( end of day ) * you find yourself thinking about kageyama again and start to tear up. you hear foot steps behind you and realize it's akaashi, he comes up to you and says " hey y/n! how was your- what's wrong?! " " o-oh n-nothing i'm okay.. " bokuto comes up behind akaashi and sees that you're crying and says " oh i'll let akaashi handle it. " and walks away " y/n what's wrong, you can tell me you know!! " akaashi says with a worried look on his face "oh um- i was just- thinking about kageyama again.. that's all don't worry about me i'll be okay." he lifts your face up and wipes your tears away with his warm hands and says "hey it's okay, youre away from that bastard and you have me to protect you now"
- [ ] you blush really hard and try not to smile and you hug him and say " thank you for being here even tho i just met you " you realize what you just did *in your head* " OMG i did not just hug a guy i just met. but he's so sweet but he's so nice! he won't do the things kageyama did to me.. will he? " akaashis POV: *in his head* " oh my god, this perfect, gorgeous and beautiful girl really just hugged me. i hope i can make her mine, and i hope i can make her forgot about kageyama ". y/n's POV: he hugs you back and runs his fingers through your hair comforting you as best as he can trying to make you feel as safe as possible with him.
you wake up, get ready and drive to school you think about how happy akaashi made you feel the day before and how warm inside and how special you felt. you park your car and walk up into school and you see akaashi and bokuto talking with eachother, the world stops for a second as you admire akaashis beautiful smile, you snap out of it and you walk up to them and say " hey! " you also say inside of your head " i hope akaashi and bokuto still wanna be friends with me.. ". as you walk up bokuto say " hey hey hey! look akaashi! y/n is here yk the girl you've been talking ab- " " BOKUTO SHUT UP! " akaashi yells at bokuto with an angry expression. you laugh and hear the bell ring you all are laughing and walking to class. you realize that you haven't been able to feel this type of happiness in a long time, the type that lasts long and doesn't go away. you realize that the relationship you had with kageyama was toxic and wasn't something you needed. all though you were still sad about it you knew you had to forget about him one day at a time.
