maybe your keys minutes before leaving, or your tv remote when you really need to catch the new episode,

but some things that are lost are a little more important, and finding them is hard, but anna found that thing she thought was missing,

she found her best friend.

maybe everyone was wrong in highschool, maybe she was wrong, dating nick wasn't what she was meant to do. he was just meant to be her friend.

he was meant to be there when she needed a shoulder to cry on, to be there when she needed a partner for a school project,

he was just supposed to be the best friend.

but he wasn't just the best friend.

he was more than a best friend, and anna knew that.

she'd always known that.

nick armstrong was anna's best friend, but there was other things he was meant for,

he was meant to be the one who completed her. the one who understood her when no one else did.

nick was meant to be the one to take her on dates, he was meant to be the one who could solve all her problems with just a hug.

he was the best friend, but he was more, nick armstrong was the soulmate.

and while anna sat and thought about her best friend, nick thought about his soulmate. he thought about the girl who didn't feel the same.

because at a time, anna thought that nick was her soulmate. and he just needed to make her fall back.
