Ēostre was the divine dawn that came to thaw the earth after its Yule. A radiant light. A goddess that brought joy, blessings, and new life. Bonfires were lit and maidens clothed in white would come to welcome her. Bright yellow flowers washed over grassy fields, resurrected from the year before. Leaves would burst in plumes of green from the trees. All that her rays would touch would live again in her name. To you, fair Ēostre, we praise—as we learn to live once more.
