~part 24~

Thursday late afternoon.
Pov: Jaeden
I was back from school and opened the front door.
"I'm home again!" I shouted, but i got no answer.
"Hello!? Y/n!?" I shouted again.
And again.. No answer.

I decided to walk upstairs and knocked on her door.
Still nothing.
I opened her door quietly.
And i saw her, sleeping.
She looked so peaceful.
I didn't want to wake her up but i need to because it's 5 pm.
I shook her gently to wake her up but not in a annoying way.

She slowly opened her eyes and squinted.
She looked at me.
"Hey Y/n. I'm back." I said smiling softly.
She didn't smile back.
She had red puffy eyes.
"What's wrong?" I asked with concern and sat on the edge of the bed.

She looked at me with sadness in her eyes.
And then she bursted out in tears and fell into my arms.
I hugged her and gently played with her hair.
"Shhh.. It's okay. I'm here." I said softly, trying to calm her down.
She sobbed while laying with her head in my lap and the only thing i could do was looking at her with concern.
"I-i didn't m-mean to walk into y-your room." She mumbled while sobbing.
"What do you mean?" I ask her, but not in a mean way.
"Y-your door was left o-open and i wanted to c-close it but i s-saw something laying on your b-bedside table." She said.

She saw the photo?
Is that the reason why she's crying?
"You saw the photo and the bracelet, didn't you?" I said looking at her with a sad look.
She nodded.
I hugged her tightly.
I rubbed her back to calm her down and luckily it helped.
After awhile we decided to go downstairs.
"Maybe we should go for a walk, you know? To let go of all thoughts in the fresh air and enjoy the outdoors." I said.
"Sure." She said and looked up at me.
She still had red and puffy eyes but gave me a little smile.
I returned the smile and grabbed her hand.

We put on our coats and i locked the door behind us after we walked out the door.
I put my arm over her shoulder and we just walked and enjoyed the outside world.
After awhile we were sitting on a bench.
Enjoying the view in front of us.

"Jae?" She suddenly asked.
"Hm?" I hummed and started looking at her.
"I'm going to throw this away, okay? You can wait here." She said while holding a plastic packaging that was from a granola bar.
"Sure." I said.

Pov: Y/n
I walked up to the garbage can and threw the little plastic away.
I was walking back to the bench again but accidentally bumped into someone.
"Oops- sorry." The person said.
"No problem, i should've watched where i was walking anyway." I said back to the person.
I looked up at the person and he seemed familiar.
"Do i know you?" I asked.
"Y/n? Oh my god Y/n! We haven't seen each other in a long time." The person said while giving me a hug.
"Jack?" I asked.
"Yass girl! That's me!" He said.
I laughed at his behavior.
Jack was one of my old friends.
I'm still sad that our friend group is apart now..

"Do you mind following me? I'm here with Jaeden." I said.
"Jaeden!! You guys still talk! I swear, if you guys don't end up together i'm going to eat my whole skateboard collection." He said.
I laughed and just took his hand and walked up to the bench where Jaeden was.

"I'm back." I said.
"Jeez, could it take any longer? I was starting to worry about you!" He said.
"Yeah sorry, i just came face to face with an old friend." I said.
Jaeden looked up and saw Jack standing next to me.
"Jack?" Jaeden said.
"No i'm not Jack, silly. I'm Jack!" Jack said, totally something he would say.
He hasn't even changed in years.
"Jack! Come here man!" Jaeden said, standing up with his arms wide.
Jack and Jaeden embraced each other while i was looking at them with a smile plastered on my face.
"How has it been with you two?" Jack asked.
"Uhmm.. actually not really good the last few uhmm... years." I said looking down a little but then looking up and giving Jack a soft smile.
"Oh no.. What happened with my little squirt." Jack said to me.
"Actually.. Many things. But the most terrible thing happened not a long time ago." Jaeden said which made Jack look at Jaeden.
"Y/n's parents... they died." Jaeden said.
I looked down at my feet.

I was still really upset.
"Oh my... I'm so sorry. That is terrible.. They were the most sweetest humans ever. I'm so sorry Y/n..." Jack said to me.
He hugged me and i hugged him back.
I could hear him sniffing a little.
I love Jack so much.
I cried in his shoulder and later Jaeden joined the hug.
All three of us, crying, standing next to a bench.
I missed hugging with my bestfriends.
I mean, yes, i've hugged with Jaeden a multiple times but... I mean with the whole friend group.. Old friend group...

A/n: i'm trying to post more again:) Hope you guys liked it. I'm still not feeling well but i'm getting better! (I'm also trying to make 2 other wattpad stories:D I think they'll turn out really good but i'm posting them soon. So now you can just enjoy this story;)) I think that was everything for now.
