Ecstasy

"Don't think. Just feel. I know you feel the same way as I do, Alex" he says, brining one hand to my cheek

I look into his icy blue eyes, and all I wanted to do right at that moment was kiss him. To feel his luscious lips against mine, to feel like no one else in this world mattered other than him. But I couldn't do that. Not yet.

I'm also reminded of when I saw Veronica sitting in Ace's office, having lunch together. Why was she there? Was there something going on between them again? Was I-I getting in the way of something...?

"We should get back to the Shepherds, we've been gone for too long, and it will seem rude" I simply say and push his arm away, walking back to our table

We continued our evening with the Sheppards, and shortly after, we said our goodbyes and headed back to our cars. Ace and I still weren't speaking much, we were sitting in silence as he drove and I pretended to be busy on my phone.

"Do you want to go bowling?" Ace suddenly asks out of the blue

"...bowling? For real? It's so late" I say, where did bowling come from

"I'm serious! Bowling, come on, it'll be fun" he says giving me a big childish smile

I can't help but smile back

"S-sure! Bowling it is" I say with a laugh

Suddenly his phone rings and I can't help but notice the caller Id...Veronica

that bitch-Why was she calling him?

He looks at his phone and sends it to voicemail. He then starts to get a couple texts which I'm guessing were from her. He turns his phone off and puts it down

I was starting to get annoyed, I'm not sure why this was affecting me, maybe because from all people, it had to be her!!!!

"On second thought, I think it's better if you just drop me home. You probably have other plans and besides I'm tired" I say losing all that energy I just had

He quickly turns his head, looking at me

"What why? It's fine we can still go!" he says

"Just take me home Ace" I say more serious now

He looks at me for a few more moments before answering "fine".

Turning the car around, he drives me back to the penthouse but before he's able to park his car, we notice the swarm of paparazzi lined up at the front.

"Fuck" Ace curse's under his breath

" what are they doing here?" I ask annoyed

He quickly turns the car and leaves before we're seen

"What are you doing? Where are you going?" I start to ask

"You can't be seen going up to the penthouse alone, you're staying at the mansion tonight" he says, keeping his focus on the rode

"W-what? No, I'm not going to the mansion. Ace take me back right now" my stubborn ass demands

He continues to ignore me and continues driving

"Are you listening? I said I want to go back. I swear to God Ace, I will get out if you don't stop the car right now!" I yell even more angry this time

He immediately pulls to the side, slamming the breaks and stopping the car. Grabbing my arm and pulling me closer to him, I see anger in his eyes as he stares into mine

"Are you fucking crazy? We're supposed to be living together, we can't be seen dropping you off at the penthouse so tonight you're staying at the mansion. And this is final" he says with a tighter grip on my arm
