S2E7 Lull

The Miyagi-Do students stood in a circle, Robby was shirtless in the middle, guard up. "Two!" Daniel called. A boy moving but Robby quickly turned to him, punching him in the chest then taking him to the ground. Robby helped him up before getting back into position. "Five!" He called. It was Sam, she advanced at Robby. Robby blocked the first kick but she landed the next one. "Got you." She said in a soft voice with a giggle. "Alright Demetri's turn, come on." Daniel said with a slow of his hands. Demetri moved into the middle. "Alright three!" Chris moved forward punching Demetri in the stomach, the boy groaning. "Sorry, Meat. You gotta block that," Chris told him, moving back into line. "Six!" Daniel called after a moment, a boy going and sweeping Demetri's legs sending him to the ground.

Daniel walked over with a sigh. "Can we take a break? This heat is brutal." Sam asked in a groaning voice. "You guys want to cool off?" Daniel asked. Everyone nodded yes. "Okay I think I can accommodate that." He said with a slight smile on his face.

Tory and Miguel were walking in the woods when a guy appeared, it was two against one. The two tag teamed him in a unfair fight. Tory pulled the headband off of him then kicked him in the face, making him flip a few times before hitting the ground. "No hard feelings." Tory shrugged, laughing some. "No mercy." Miguel added. Johnny was watching, disappointment on his face.

Daniel and the Miyagi-Do students were in a freezer. "So you couldn't take the heat of Shochu-Geiko, perhaps you'll find Kangeiko more to your liking." He told them. "Is there a geiko that takes place in a spa?" Sam asked, her arms wrapped around her as she shivered. "It isn't about the hot or the cold, it's about adapting to your environment and using it to your advantage. Look around what do you see?" Daniel explained to them. "Frozen London broil?" Chris asked as he rubbed his arm. "No, not the meat. Look past that. I see the exhalation of breath. The twitch of a muscle. The shift of a stance. If you lean into the cold it will heighten your senses. And you'll anticipate the moment before your opponent strikes and you'll always be ready." He told them. Daniel's phone started ringing. "Alright circle up." He called glancing between them and his phone

Mitch was walking through the woods, he was alone and on the black team. He jumped at the sound of a bird screech. With a yell, Eli dropped from the tall trees, taking Mitch down and pulling his headband off. Mitch got up. "What the hell man?" He questioned, disbelief on his face. "Sorry Ass-face, today you are the enemy, that makes five kills." Eli pulled a necklace out of his shirt. "I guess I earned my medal of Honor." The stole metal of Honor glinting in the light of the sun. Miguel saw that, a look of anger on his face.

Sam was the first one in the middle, her guard up and eyes on the others. "Seven." Daniel said. Chris was behind Sam as he moved forward but she turned, blocking each move before kicking him in the stomach, sending him back in line. "That's what I'm talking about!" Daniel praised. "Five." Robby moved forward. They were both blocking each other's hits and kicks until they got to where both arms were blocked and there was no move. The two were staring at each other, slowly smiles spreading across their faces. "Alright, let's get Demetri in there. Good job." Sam and Robby were walking to their spots, not once taking their eyes off the other. Demetri had his head down.

Demetri moved into the middle. "Alright here goes nothing. Literally." He grumbled. "Set. Six." Daniel said. The guy moved forward,kicking Demetri in the stomach, making him double over. "Come on Demetri looked for the signs." Daniel told him.  "Anticipate, you can do this. All right, focus."   Demetri had a hand on his stomach. "Come on Demetri." Daniel's voice was kind. "Oh, come on yourself. Just give me a second." The boy said

Everyone who's headband was stolen was sitting in the woods, on a tree. They were talking amongst themselves when Aisha was walking up. "It's okay Miss Robinson, you'll get them next time." Johnny said to the sad looking girl. Tory looked over at her. "They got you out too?" Aisha stood beside her, crossing her arms over her chest. "Yeah, I guess it's just Hawk and Miguel left."
