S1E6 Quiver

Johnny stood in the office door, looking out at the room full of studens who talked among themselves. Miguel and Aisha were near the front actually practicing punches. Demetri and Eli stood near the middle of the crowd. "I don't know why I let you talk me into this. It's like extra gym class for no reason." Demetri told the other boy. Eli had his hands in front of him, he looked very timid. "Let's just give it a chance. You saw the fight, Miguel kicked ass." He replied to Demetri as Johnny walked out. "Okay today we begin.." He started but trailed off, no one was paying him any attention.  "Quite!" He called, everyone falling silent and looking over at the man. "Everyone face front."

The class started to get into order, facing Johnny. Miguel and Aisha in the front line. Johnny walked through the group, looking at them, like a wolf in a herd of sheep. He glanced at Demetri's shirt, it was green with the pi symbol. "Nice shirt." He said. Demetri smiled some "Thanks." Johnny continued walking at his slow pace.  "I'm kidding it sucks." He said very plainly. He stopped in front of a slightly heavy boy with long hair. The boy gave him a smile. "Word of advice. If you got shit for teeth don't smile." The smile quickly fell as he looked down. Johnny looked at a small boy as he kept walking. "When I walk around this room is don't see Cobra Kai material. I see losers, nerds and a fat kid wearing a funny hat with his tits popping out." Said kid lowered his head. "But in my short time as a Sensei I have seen miracles." He looked over at Miguel and Aisha. Miguel smiled some. "So there might be hope for you yet, but first I need to see where you're at. Fall in!"

All the students looked at each other in confusion. "That means line up," Johnny said. The kids started to form two lines one behind  Miguel and the other behind Aisha. "No not a line. Like lines." Demetri looked over at Johnny. "Like rows?" The boy asked. Johnny covered his face with his hands. "Oh my God." He groaned some.

Johnny was walking the rows. "Fighting positions. Jab punch." He said, one of the smaller boys punching. "Not until I say so." Johnny then called it, the students following his instructions. He fixed the ones position, helping him out. Johnny had reached the front of the class. "Hey lip." He said. Eli looked up at him. "Yeah you. The one with the freaky lip. Who do you think I'm talking to?" Eli turned his eyes down, "Excuse me Mr. Lawrence." Demetri started but was cut off by Aisha. "Sensei Lawrence." She corrected, looking back at him, her voice loud and strong. Demetri looked at her. "Okay..you shouldn't make fun of someone's physical appearance." He finished, looking back at Johnny. "Oh really?" The man asked with a small smirk on his face. "So I'm not supposed to mention his lip at all?" Demetri had a confused look on his face. "Well yeah."

"That might be what they teach you in school but in the real world you can't expect people to do what they are supposed to." Johnny said. "You hear that lip? If you can't handle someone making fun of you how are you going to handle a elbow to the teeth?" Demetri answered instead like he usually did when someone talked to Eli. "By calling the police." He said in a duh tone. Eli looked over at his friend. "Knock it off." Miguel said in a low tone. "Why? Doesn't he know that the Nazis lost the war. Why should I be afraid of him? Because he has a snake on his wall?" Demetri spoke loudly, gesturing at the Cobra Kai logo. "It's not like he's a teacher who can give you  bad grade. We're paying him, he works for us. It's not like he can actually hurt us." He looked around at the others unaware that Johnny was slowly walking towards him. "Oh shit." Miguel whispered.

The other students moved to form a wide circle around Johnny and Demetri, the younger boy looking at the others before looking at Johnny. "You done? Strike me." Johnny said. "Go ahead strike me right here." He pointed at his nose. Demetri got into the fighting position. He went to punch him but Johnny easily knocked his hand out of the way. "Harder." He said, Demetri taking a deep frustrated breath as he moved back into position. Demetri went to punch him  again, Johnny knocked his hand away much harder then last. "Is that all you got princess?" He asked Demetri. Demetri looked at bit upset as he punched again, the time Johnny flipping him to where he landed on his back hard. Johnny stood up and pointed a finger around at the others. "Let that he a lesson to all of you."
