Morning.

(Y\N) woke up to birds chirping, the suns natural light coming through the white curtains. You turned over to see Armin sitting next to you writing in his journal.

"Good morning Armin."

"Morning!" He said with a lovely smile. "What's the plan for today?" (Y\N) said while arching her back for stretching before sitting up. "Eh, sorry I spaced out for a moment, come again?"

" I said, What's the plan for today?'."
"Uhh, I'm not sure, since they gave us a few days off so we can settle in and unpack," Armin said.

You hummed in response

"Hey, Armin."
"Y-yeah, what is it?"
"Thanks for helping me last night, it helped." (Y\N) said with a smile and with her head tilted towards her right shoulder.
"No problem, I'm happy to help with anything. Just tell me, ok?"

"Of course!"

(Y\N) mind started going into thought about Eren saying Armin might like her. She started to feel a heat rise from her face.

There was a knock on Armin's door, "Hello?" (Y\N) said. "It's Mikasa." You got up to unlock the door and sat back down. Mikasa opened the door softly, peeking her head in. Noticing (Y\N) on Armin's bed, she walked fully through the door and gave (Y\N) a smirk. And all you could do was glare at her.

"What brings you here, Mikasa?" Armin asked.
"Just for comfort. Anything interesting?"
Mikasa looked tired and upset and no wonder why she needed comfort, You thought. Mikasa sat on a nearby chair.

"What time did you go to bed Mikasa? You look tired as 'misery' itself."  You asked in a worrisome tone.

"4:45 am "

"Holy shit! Mikasa, you know that isn't good for you!"

"I know- I'm just worried about Eren." she said with an unhappy voice."

"I know it sucks we can't see him. But at least he's safe. And you have me and (Y\N)." Armin said, earning a soft smile from Mikasa.

(Y\N) nodded reassuring Mikasa that he'll be alright.

Mikasa smiled tiredly and got up from her seat, "Thanks, I'll be catching up on sleeping hours."
She left and closed the door behind her.

(Y\N) said with sorrow, "dame, poor girl."

Armin agreed.

One hour passed.

(Y\N), starts randomly mentioning things they could do today until Armin said a biology fact.
"Hey, (Y\N) did you know theirs seven trillion nerves in our bodies?" 
"Woa- what! That's a lot, I never knew that." You said with a full face of amusement. "Do you have any more to tell me?"
"Sure thing! Umm, let's see...Oh, Did you know that-"
A knock came from the door and the room went quiet.

A soft friendly voice behind the door, "May I come in?"
(Y\N) got up from the bed and dusted yourself off.
Armin unlocked the door and a Ginger haired girl walked in. It was the girl who you saw during the  Graduation ceremony. You and Armin did the salute, and she did as well. " Hello there, I'm Petra Ral. Pleased to meet you." She stuck out her hand out and shook yours and Armin's hand.

"I'm part of the Levis squad, I know we're supposed to do introduction later in the week. But I couldn't help myself."

You found it nice how she didn't ask why you and Armin were in the same room together. Which you respected that she kept Privacy in mind.

"And I'm (Y\N), (L\N). Pleased to meet you as well, Petra"
Petra changed her gaze at Armin, He did the same. "Armin Arlert, nice to meet you as well." He smiled.

"Everyone will be able to adventure around on their own time since everyone is probably much-done unpacking and being settled in. And seeing your friend Eren will more in the week. Hanji, who you will meet soon. Isn't quite done her experiments with Eren ."

Mikasa will be unhappy about that. You thought, Petra said goodbye and left the room.

Armin and (Y\N) agreed to look around their new location. The two decided to look for the library.

"I wonder if they have a library here."
"Oh, I'm sure they do." You said while putting a hand on his shoulder.

They needed someone to guide them since the place was like a maze to them. One wrong turn and you're lost.
They spotted Petra again, she waved them over.

"Hey, you two! I see you finally left your cave!" She said jokingly.

"We're just wondering if you guys have a library in here?"  You asked.

"Of course we do! I'll take you to it!" Petra started walking and, the two followed behind her. "Sorry I forgot to ask earlier. Do you have any questions?"

"Why can't we see Eren?" (Y\N) said.
  "I'm sorry. I can't say, just gonna have to wait and see. But soon is all I know."

It was mostly silent the rest of the way there.
When they were at their objective Petra gave them a tour on how to find specific books. Even though the two knew how a library works but, the library itself was massive.
(Y\N) and Armin greatly appreciated that Petra guided them to the new surroundings. "Well, I'll be around. Happy reading!" She smiled then left the room.

Armin was in a different lane than you. You were looking around for anything appealing. Picking out books here and there, flipping through some of the pages and then putting them back.

After a while, you heard a chair being pulled out and followed by a soft thud on a table. You looked to where the sound came from. It was Armin, who was at a table facing you. He had a thick book resting against the wooden furniture. "Hey Armin, what book is that?" You said in curiosity. "O-oh! I-It's biology, I w-wanted to just learn more about how muscles work t-to help with tr-training. A-and things like that.." He said while scratching the back of his head.

You knew something was off. You raised a brow and gave off a smirk. Armin noticed your body language and said, "w-what you know I stutter under pressure. Y-you know that."
"Uh-huh." You said with a teasing tone while smirking. She. Turns away and brings her attention back to the bookcases.

What is he reading? Is the lying or telling the truth? That was all you could think about.

After a while, you looked back over to see Armin taking writing notes in his journal, which he carries around with him. Once done in the Library, Armin put the book back while you waited by the door. The two found their way back into his room and you didn't want to leave just yet, without one answer.

"Hey Armin, tell me what you learned from reading that book earlier? At least one thing."

"Oh, u-uhh...u-ummm...Oh! D-did you know our bodies have o-over s-seven tr-trillion nerves?"

"Oh, that's odd I thought you might have remembered you already told me that?"

You said while giving Armin a cold, yet warm smile.

"Tell me honestly, what book were you reading Armin?"
