"We..we need to keep moving."

"No, you need to talk."

"Put the gun down Conrad."

"Not until she rolls up her sleeve." He grabs Clem by her arm and rips her forward. I step up and tear Clem away from him, "Touch her again and I'll kill you." Conrad scoffs.

"What? Why?" Gabe looked terrified. Clem's face softened when she saw Gabe and looked at me with an apologetic expression. She then rolls up her sleeve in her left arm. The burn that has been on all the men and women, was right there on the top of her arm.

I widen my eyes in shock. "I fucking knew it."

"You're one of them?" Gabe was hesitant to speak up at her. "You damn right she is. What other bullshit did you shove down our fucking throats, huh? Unfuckingbelievable."

"Jesus, Conrad, lower the fucking gun down. This isn't necessary."

"Lower it? You're missing the bigger picture, son. Don't you see? We bring her to Richmond, they'll give us whatever we want. Medical help for Kate. She's our bargaining chip." I give Conrad a nasty look before stepping in front of Clementine. "I won't repeat myself Conrad, I warned you once. You don't even know the whole fucking story!"

"Oh, and you do? Seems like a long time since you two seen each other, who's to say she didn't change into one of them?"

"They won't bargain with you. You don't know them."

"Won't know until we try." I slowly put my hand on my gun holster.

"She's not a bargaining chip! She's a friend!"

"Oh, and I'm sure after less than a day you two are just soul mates."

"Not a chance in hell." I breath out a sigh of relief that Javi was on Clem's side.

"Seriously?! It's our best option and you know it. Hell its our only option."

"Go to hell Conrad, I'm not doing this. If you wanna shot me, shoot me." Conrad gets even more mad and over the edge as Clem said that. He reaches over to Gabe, "how about I shoot you're little boyfriend here instead?"

Javi immediately pulls out his gun, "what the fuck Conrad?!"

"Then don't let her walk through that door! Nobody has to shoot anybody!" Conrad now had Gabe to his chest with his arm holding him there and a gun to his head. "Stop pointing guns at children! What the fuck is wrong with you?!" I was about to pull out my gun before Clem put her hand on my hand stopping me.

"Just tell Clem this is how it's gotta be. And then we all step into sunshine. C'mon man be reasonable, this is gonna help the both of us."

"I'm...just.. gonna go.."

"Don't take another step."

"Javi please!" Gabe was begging Javi. "Javi don't let him do this, think clearly. He's being selfish." Javi looked over at me before shaking his head and giving me a look of defeat. My heart dropped to my stomach.

"You know this will work!"

Javi looked down, "I'm sorry Clem." He lowered his gun.

"But you said-"

"I know what I said. It's not worth Gabe's life."

"So what? That's it? Clem now has to loose her life because of this?!" Javi widen his eyes before quickly replying, "no one said she was dying-"

"You don't listen do you? Clem said they won't bargain, Clem left for a reason. They won't like her returning if she left, they're gonna kill her." Javi opened his mouth to say something, but never did.

Conrad opened his hand out for Clem gun, she gave to him and crossed her arms looking pissed at Javi. Conrad then put the gun in his pocket before putting his hand out towards me, "I'm not giving you shit. Next time you turn your back towards me, I'm killing you." Conrad hesitantly put his hand down after what I said.

Conrad's face hardened, "c'mon Clem. Start walking." Clem starts walking out when Conrad behind her pointing his gun at her. I look over at Javi and shake my head in disbelief. "Y/n wait I can explain." Before he could finish I walk up towards Clem and Conrad, standing in the middle of the two so the gun was pushed up against my back.

"What the hell are you doing y/n?"

"I'm not letting you hurt a little girl or continue to point that fucking gun at her."

"She's not a little girl, not in a time like this. She's a murder."

"Yeah? And so are you. Makes you even doesn't it? At least now you don't have to keep checking your back for me to be there...well at least not right now."
