Is It Wrong That I Fell For You?

chapter 10

After docking the ship, many run off into the ocean to swim. kids splashed each other while their elders admired the land and flowers that grew. Kenma went off and scouted out the land while Sakusa watched over the people. Oikawa, Atsumu, and Suna started to pick some of the flowers. Oikawa said it was good luck, he said they were called Peony. once picked, it releases a special sparkle that sprinkles and flows in the wind, sticking to everyone it passes by, bring them luck. Kuroo picked one too and handed it to Kenma before he left to scout. Kenma had a slight blush on his face and accepted it with a 'whatever'. 

Suna POV

It's been a while since Kenma left. the sun was setting and everyone was getting hungry. luckily, they set up some 'blankets' to lay down on, and we collected sticks and leaves for fire. there wasn't much to eat considering we couldn't bring all the animals and the food was almost out on the ship. so we had to wait for Kenma before we could explore for food and fresh water. 

"When do you think Kenma will come back?" Kuroo questions the group. Oikawa continues to make flower crowns while Sakusa watches over the people. making sure no one wanders into the island's core. 

"hell be back soon. calm down, he's the best and sneaking around." Oikawa answers, setting a crown on sakusas head. "but are you sure? you don't know this island. what if he fell down a cliff or is being eaten by a wild animal!" Kuroo exclaims. 

"... Kuroo, why don't you start the fire." Iwaizumi responds, handing him a lighter we found on the ship. he grumbles and takes the lighter, walking away and to the unlit fire. once Kuroo is away sakusa starts speaking. "ill go out and look for Kenma, Oikawa, get everyone back onto the ship until I come back. Iwaizumi and Osamu, you're coming with me." Sakusa stands up along with Osamu and Iwaizumi. 

"why can't I go with you!" Astumu whines. Sakusa briefly looks at Atsumu, "it's dangerous." he says and walks towards the trees. Atsumu huffs. 

Osamu's POV

as we walk through the trees and plants I question Sakusa. 

"it's too dangerous?" I see Sakusa stiffen for a second before returning to his alert stance. 

"it is. He's not a fighter," he responds. 

"how do you know that?" Iwaizumi questions, the same smirk on him as on me. 

"because I am a warrior. Kenma is a warrior. and Oikawa is not. Atsumu is a lot like Oikawa." he responds. 

"But you don't know him as we do. he once curb-stomped Kuroos bully back in middle school. he lost 3 teeth and Atsumu got suspended for 2 weeks." Iwaizumi says. 

"yeah, when we went to the mall some guy tried to take his phone and he got chased a black and ended up with a broken arm and rib," I say. 

"if there are others here, they will have weapons, they are trained and have experience killing things with no mercy. they don't interrogate you, ask why you're here, or give you a second chance. once caught, you're dead. if it's an animal or a cliff, then ill admit I overreacted. but chances are, this island is-" 

"excuse me! How did you get here?" I voice spoke next to us. when we turned to see who it was, a male with long green hair stood in front of us. he wore a White Kimono and had gold accessories all over. bracelets, arm bands, earrings, anklets, even a nose ring. slight freckles dusted his face. he looked so innocent but with one look at the bloodied spear, you knew he could kill.

"so?" he questioned further, taking his spear in both hands. Sakusa pulled out his knife and got into stance. 

"you're an empress. why are you here alone?" Sakusa questions. 

"who said I was alone?" he questions. looking around, we noticed many people surrounding us that blended in. arrows aligned, aiming at us. "now, how did you get here!" he asks again. 

"a ship. we are trying to get back home, but many of the people got restless and we came upon this island." Osamu answers. 

"a ship? you're human then?" 

"only 4 of us. please, lower your weapons and we will leave your island." Iwaizumi spoke. 

"come with me," he says and starts to walk. we follow while others still had their weapons aimed at us. not like we had a choice. 

after walking for minutes, we come into a clearing that held huts and a massive stone hut. they had fires, animals running around, and horses. kids were running around with sticks lit on fire and women were carrying jugs and cleaning cloth at the river. The men were cutting up animals and cooking, some even joining women in cleaning. 

"Welcome to the Eternal Sea Tribe. I am indeed the empress here. my name is Yamaguchi. the Emperor will be back shortly. I believe we found one of you people, short, blond, stubborn? ring any bells?" 

"where is he?" Sakusa asks. 

"with the emperor, Terushima. follow me." Yamaguchi says, walking towards the stone hut. he lifts the golden cloth sideways and enters the hut, us following along. 

upon entry, the room was littered, neatly, with pillows and blankets. the room had a yellow glow to it, and see-through cloth hung from the ceiling, caging a golden-edged chair that had red cloth. 

"What is this?" I question. 

"This is my home. Terushima and Kenma should be entering soon." upon speaking, we saw a tall, handsome man walk in. he wore a white Kimono as well, though his chest was showing. golden armbands and a golden tongue ring we saw once he spoke. though the person next to him surprised us all. 

Kenma stood there wearing red Harem-styled clothes. a slit down both sides of his pants and a see-through top. he also wore gold accessories such as a headband, bracelets, and an ankle bracelet. His hair was up and braided on both sides to meet the ponytail. he wore an annoyed expression as well.
