You take a monk, a monk who has not ventured outside his monastery since childhood. Never seen a snow topped mountain, never walked through a bristling city and never spoke to a woman. You throw him out of his monastery, alone, into all the debauchery and drugs Europe can offer. What would he make of it? This is how I look back on my Europe trip. I might not have officially been a monk but I did live my life like one. I'm not proud of my behavior or the events surrounding this three month period of my life, but I am proud to have forced myself to do it. I hope that my story will reach people who are in similar positions to what I found myself and to plant the seed of travel as a solution to those problems. Sometimes running away is the solution.
