Touch the Light

I'm cold, I'm empty, I'm hollow,
I'm in pain, it's hard to swallow.
I'm in the dark, but I don't like it anymore,
The light, I see it, it'll save me, I'm sure.

So I step closer, closer,
It only glows brighter and brighter.
I'm not alone anymore, not at all!
It's the last thought I have, burning as I fall.
