Hide and Seek (SLOW UPDATE)

Chapter 1

"Did you ditch your work to fetch me?" Roseanne asked, examining their attires as they walked. 

"Kind of," Jisoo said.

"No, you didn't," Roseanne said in disbelief. "If you lose your job, I'm out." She added. 

"Yah! Our Yoongi-Sajangnim wouldn't dare fire us cause that means firing Jennie. He doesn't want this friend of ours out of his sight. The man's whipped." Lisa said, causing Jennie to glare at her, trying to hide the fact that her cheeks flushed. 

Jennie has told Roseanne her thing with her CEO on one of their rare phone calls after she decided to unblock everyone. Roseanne was beyond happy to hear from one of her best friends that she finally found a man worthy of having her attention after the series of traumatic experiences she had with her ex-boyfriends. She deserves all the happiness in the world, and Mr. Min is surely giving her that. 

"You are taking advantage of the man, you know." Roseanne jokingly said. "How about you, Lisa? How are you and that Chinese boy you were talking about?"

"Jackson? Nah. We called it quits yesterday. I met someone this morning over an app, though. He's a Thai just like me." Lisa said as matter-of-factly. 

"Girly is collecting men of different nationalities like how UN collects member states,"  Jennie said, causing the group to laugh. 

"It's not like that! The rule is to avoid Korean men at all costs. After that Sehun guy dumped me over the phone, I'm done with them. Who does he think he is? Dumping a pretty girl like me? I swear to god, I was about to break things off with him in week 2 of our relationship after discovering he hates cats, but I tried to give him a damn chance. Where did he seriously got his audacity to throw me off like that?" She ranted, which made Jennie and Jisoo shake their heads. Roseanne had a feeling the girl had been telling them the same story for the nth time. 

"I'm sorry for ranting like that, Joonwoo." Lisa turned to the little guy who stared at her wide-eyed. 

"Unnie, How about you? How's your love life?" Roseanne turned to the eldest, who blushed at her question. 

Chaeyoung might have been away from Jisoo and the girls for almost 3 years, but she surely still knows them like the back of her hand. She immediately got the hint that the girl finally decided to open up her heart to someone after almost 20+ years of being the cult leader of the NBSB (No boyfriend since Birth) squad. Who could the lucky guy be? 

"Oh! Her boyfriend is fantastic! He fetches her every day at wor--"

"Lisa," Jisoo whined, obviously uncomfortable with the fact that they are talking about her love life. 

"Jinjja? So you officially have your first boyfriend, Unnie? " Roseanne asked. Jisoo nodded her head, looking at anything but her eyes. "You definitely have to introduce him to me, Unnie!" Chaeyoung said excitedly.
