Chapter 1

Start from the beginning

She instantly felt a warmth in her heart. Almost 2 years of being in Australia definitely made her homesick.

"ROSEANNE!" She flinched when she heard someone yell from a distance.

The next thing she knew, three gorgeous girls in office attires are running towards her.

"Roseanne! I can't believe you're already here!" Jennie said, hugging her tightly.

"And you dyed your hair blonde. You're fucking gorgeous," Lisa said, running a hand on Roseanne's hair.

"Lisa, watch your language. Joonwoo might hear it." Jisoo warned. "Give me this charmer, right here." She said, stretching her arms out to carry Joonwoo. Roseanne carefully lends her the little man who flapped frantically as she stretched his arms to reach out to Jisoo's face.

Jennie and Lisa stared affectionately at the interaction.

"Rose, he's the cutest little thing on earth," Jennie said.

"I know, right. He had this charming chinky eyes, adorable smiles, and squishy cheeks." Lisa said as she allowed Joonwoo's hands to wrap around her pointer finger.

"Of course. He took that after me." Roseanne replied.

"No offense. But he looked exactly like Jimi--"

"Shhh. hold that thought." Roseanne said, raising her hand.

"Oh. I thought you've moved on." Lisa said. The atmosphere immediately darkened at the topic.

"I have. But I would really appreciate it if you wouldn't mention him around Joonwoo." Roseanne said, letting out a weak smile.

Jisoo, Jennie, and Lisa exchanged meaningful glances.

"Oh, so kinda like Voldemort," Lisa commented.

"Exactly. We refer to him as he-who-must-not-be-named." Roseanne replied.

"Okay, if you say so." Lisa said, "Come on! Let's get this sunshine familiar with Seoul." She added, instantly lightening the atmosphere.
