"But still..."
"If you're still feeling bad then let me ask you a question. Did you have fun?"
Chanyeol contemplated a bit before slowly nodding his head. "Of course it was fun. It was the first time I had fun and played in such a long time. Seeing your determined face to have your revenge but ended up going around in circles made me really happy."
"Then that should be enough. I know I looked a little pathetic but oh well, just wait till I master that bumper-fucking-car and I'll drive you into a corner and crash into you until you surrender." Baekhyun flashed a coy grin at Chanyeol.
Chanyeol was actually surprised with Baekhyun's response. He never expected that the smaller would react this way. He was ready. Ready to take in all of Baekhyun's rants and he was ready to accept that their day would be ending sooner as expected. But then, this happened. Is this Baekhyun's caring side? He was the one who got the sort end of the stick so why is Baekhyun telling him this?
Chanyeol would be lying if Baekhyun's words didn't make his heart thump.
"Are you not mad at me?"
"Well, no. Like I told you, I'm fine. But if you still won't give me some mints then I might consider getting mad."
"O-oh, sorry. Here you go." He gave Baekhyun some mints. Baekhyun ate it and let the minty flavor travel to his tongue through his head. Then he closed his eyes for a few minutes to relax himself. After quite a while, he was then ready to go again.
"Hey, Chanyeol."
"Yes?"
"What's your least favorite ride here?"
Chanyeol scratched the back of his neck and looked at Chanyeol shyly. "Uhh, it's not really a ride but uhh, it's... the horror house."
"Eh? Really?"
"Yup, why? Wait... don't tell me.." Baekhyun grinned and grabbed Chanyeol's arm. He dragged Chanyeol to the horror house until they're already in front of it. "Shit, I can't do this."
"What do you mean you can't? Do you have heart problems or something?"
"No, it's not that."
"Did something traumatic happened to you that's why you hate horror houses?"
Chanyeol shook his head so Baekhyun asked again.
"Do you have any phobia that could possibly trigger something?"
"Not really. I just hate ghosts and scary stuffs."
Baekhyun smiled a little."Then you should be fine. Come on, let's go in!"
The staff opened the door for them and Baekhyun bowed at her. The moment they went in, the door closed, causing Chanyeol to jump and cling close to Baekhyun.
"Hey, you're too close."
"I can't... I'm too scared."
"Fine." Baekhyun sighed. "If you're too scared then look down and cover your ears. Just hold onto me so we won't get separated."
Chanyeol nodded and did what Baekhyun told him. After a while, he started to relax and he wasn't as scared as he was earlier anymore.
"It's not even that scary. Look, Chanyeol, They look just like statues you find in museums. They only added some creepy background music and lightening." Baekhyun tapped Chanyeol's shoulder and the taller looked up. And it was true, it's not really that scary.
Baekhyun kept ranting about how lame it is and to be honest, it was calming Chanyeol. They eventually reached an area where you have to choose between two different paths. One is a maze and one is a straight path. Chanyeol tugged Baekhyun's sleeves, his voice sounded like he was about to cry.
