He could've sworn she looked like she wanted to cry any second before she abruptly slammed down the pepsi and rushed past him. Their shoulders bumped, yet she didn't stop and continued walking until she reached her room.
Her door was shut with a soft slam, and followed by the shuffle of lock.
Puzzled, he could only stare.
Faith had the same mask of confusion. She shrugged when Keygan turned to ask what was wrong.
His eyes drove back to the door.
His curiosity about her mysterious character grew even more.
Later that night had Keygan staring at the balcony again.
Her short figure was seated against the banister, hands nestled under her chin. Her eyes seemed to be staring into the air, lost in thoughts.
Light from the moon peekes through the cracks of her hair, splashing shapes of white onto her pale skin. A slight breeze caused her hair to move in a wavy motion, sweeping her skin smoothly.
After staring at her whule debating, he slid the door silently and stepped out, hands hidden in pockets due to the cold.
She still didn't utter out an answer. She was so lost of her surroundings.
Keygan sat on the other side of the balcony, eyes on the girl. He noted that pinched frown she bound to have whenever she seemed to be thinking to herself.
He let out a quiet cough to get her attention.
From the start, Keygan never missed her alerted behaviour. A little sound could receive a flinch from her. He remembered her alarmed face whenever a sudden voice or sound was heard. She would either flinch or clench her fist. Nervous was what he saw on her face until she started getting better at masking it up.
The flash in her eyes was something he couldn't ignore, even if he tried to. It bothered him so much, but not as much as the reason why he was concerned about her.
He felt the weight of her gray eyes on her, confused, and alerted.
He looked straight ahead, unable to connect the gaze. "You're alright there?"
It was just a small question, but it meant something bigger from her reaction.
Keyara shifted uncomfortably, face tightening. Then she nodded, yet it didn't bring Keygan the relieve he was expecting.
He felt more at the top of the peak, wanting to know the genuine answer. More than that, he saw the fear from her.
She was scared and Keygan hoped it wasn't him who was bringing that feeling upon her.
"You know I'm not a threat right?" He chuckled to himself silently, knowing himself it was so wrong. The examply he set when he punched Justin was more than enough to make that words of his a lie. Tilting his eyes upwards towards the sky, he sighed. "I'm a fair person. He deserved it."
Keygan knew she was aware the person he was talking about. The flinch she suffered in reflex said everythingin silence.
Silence blanketed them once again.
Keygan took his phone and typed something on the screen before sliding it towards the redhead. The sound of some soft surface gliding over some rocky marbles skidded across the balcony before it stopped an inch from her.
She stopped to frown at him, only to see him looking somewhere else.
Reaching for the phone, she let her squinted eyes read the question he was curious. She zoomed in when the letters were double and blurry, making her unable to read.
