"He apologized! Oh my God, he said sorry! Fuller Hudson said sorry, to me!" Faith screamed on top of her lungs, eyes wide.

That was some truth she had a hard time believing.

Keyara didn't have the heart to tell her what happened at the school as she watched Faith slapping herself, trying to call back the reality. Her lips cracked a tiny smile.

Hell, Faith was beginning to dig a spot in her heart.

"So, is that all or is there more?" Mrs. Blythe's voice sliced the thick silence in half, attracting the three.

Faith took a gulp of her water. "That is all, nothing more."

Faith told everything that happened between her and Fuller. From the first day. Keyara sat there, listening to her story with the palest face and felt her heart sank with each word she heard.

Keygan's features were serene. There was no hint of madness or pity; no pinched eyebrows, no scowl, no wrinkles under his eyes and no narrowed eyes. He accepted it with equanimity.

As Keyara stared at him, the longer she studied him, the better she knew he was trying to not blow up and give in to the immense fury that burned through him at every tear that rolled down Faith's cheek.

She let her lips carve a smile.

Assured that Faith had someone who genuinely cared about her.

"And thank you, Keyara, for what you've done for Faith."

She whipped around.

A small smile played on Mrs. Blythe's face. "I appreciate what you did for Faith."

Keyara scooped some fettuccine and twirled it around her fork before eating it. She has resolved that no more misfortune would befall on Faith Blythe anymore.

Faith had pulled her up to her room right after dinner, ordering Keyara to continue her painting. In which, with her tummy full, Keyara started adding colors to her canvas until the girl offered a can of pepsi.

Keyara wiped a sweat from her forehead and accepted the can. "Thanks."

As soon as she placed her thumb pad below the opener, Faith told her to wait.

Keyara flinched and held the cold can in her hand. "What?"

"Can you open mine first?"

Her voice was dripping from kindness. Narrowing her gaze skeptically, Keyara placed her can fown the floor and took Faith's in her hand.

As soon as she flipped the can tab, excess gas rushed out of the can with a sharp hiss sound. Keyara gasped, as the door hit opened and the gas exerted pressure, which caused the dark colored liquid to spray on the intruder.

"Shit!" The redhead cursed. Her heart jumped once at the sight of Keygan. His face was dripping from pepsi, drenched wrinkled forming down his tee, lining down the fabric. Her face twisted into a grimace. "Faith!"

Faith burst into a fit of exuberant laughters. Her hands clutched around her tummy, leaning forward to let out more hysterical laughters that represented mirth, and triumph.

Meanwhile, Keygan slid off his glasses and wiped his face with his same hand. He couldn't believe he got pranked by the same devil with the same prank thrice. He should've known it the moment his niece showed him her big doe eyes and the cute, little, manipulative pout.

He should've known it.

Keyara was gaping at him, the hand that held the half empty can slightly shivering. There were two possibilities, it could be fear or she felt apprehensive in a way.
