chapter 4

          "I warned him", said the blonde male in an angry, and anxious tone as he clenched his fist and looked down at the small round table in front of them without any reason, "I told him to give up on his revenge, especially, when he hasn't been well recently, but he's fucking stubborn and see how he ended up"

          The brown-haired male beside him looked at him with concerned eyes and rested his palm against his shaking knee which would be lifted up and down in a nervous manner, but stopped as soon as the blonde felt the younger's soothing touch, causing his muscles to relax a bit, "Calm down, Tae", the latter said in a gentle voice, drawing the older's teary eyes to himself, "We'll find him, but I think you need to get rest first. You haven't slept for two days and it's affecting you very negatively"

          The younger noticed the desperation creeping upon his face and he wished he could take away his fears and pain even though he was as scared for Yeonjun as he. He could never resist misery in his eyes which were pooled with shiny, crystal tears, "Hyuka is right, Taehyun", the third one spoke up as he propped his elbows on his knees and pressed his palms against each other, intertwining his fingers, "Go to bed for some time. We will take care of the problem and tell you if we find something, okay?"

          The blonde slowly unclenched his fist as he flickered his eyes down to the red mat under their feet and hesitantly nodded his head after gulping down heavily. Huening Kai made sure to help his stressed boyfriend go upstairs, his arm wrapped around his waist to help him keep his balance as they entered the room.

          The atmosphere was dead silent, but both of them could hear the tension and sadness shrieking in their hearts and making them beat so loudly that they could feel it pulsating in their own ears.

           Taehyun didn't even bother to change his clothes since he was feeling too weak for that, and Huening Kai put him into their bed after taking off his shoes in a caring manner, putting them aside. "We will find him, right?", Taehyun asked in a hopeful voice after he was already laying under the warm blanket, his one hand tucked under his cheek as he rested on his left side and started at his boyfriend with anticipative eyes.

          Huening Kai flashed him a sad smile, warmth crawling upon his heart with the realization that their teammates being in danger was the only thing that could put the blonde boy in that state. Taehyun loved his friends too much, and could become very emotional when it came to them, when any of them were in trouble. And now he was not only hurt but very angry too because he saw how Yeonjun fainted all of a sudden a week ago and he still insisted to carry out his plans. He had never been well or truly happy ever since his family died, he was emotionally drained. Who knew how they were treating him there now? Or what if he wasn't even alive anymore?

          "We'll do our best", Kai spoke gently and his words were enough for Taehyun to suppress his anxiety a bit, and it faded even more when the younger placed a caring kiss against his forehead, "Now go to sleep. I'll go back down to Soobin"

          Huening Kai patted his blonde hair softly when Taehyun nodded his head and left the room with lazy steps afterwards. He sauntered downstairs unhurriedly and heard his friend talking on the phone as soon as he approached the living room and his ears perked immediately when he heard Yeonjun's name being mentioned, his heart racing from the twinkle of hope.

          "Okay", Soobin spoke on the phone with a faint sigh as he rubbed his forehead anxiously, "Thank you"

          Kai looked at the male with hints of confusion plastered over his face as he slowly stepped closer to him while the older male shoved his phone into his pocket, "Who were you talking to, hyung?", he asked curiously, drawing the other's excited eyes to himself.
