"Kian!" tawag ko habang humahabol sa kanya.

He's so fast. I can't keep up walking so I had to run.

I don't know what happened too. How did he get there? I told him to go home???

"Kian!" sigaw ko pa na mas malakas. Ayaw ako pansinin eh!

That's not what you think and it's not what it seems. Fuck!

Rina, I swear if ever something happens between me and Kian I would catch you.

He was about to enter his car so I did too. I was catching up with my breath because I can't breathe properly. Of course, I ran.

"Bakit ba ang bilis mo?!?!" angal ko sa kanya.

He's not doing anything. He's just sitting there on his seat.

"Why do you care?" he asked using his most serious tone.

He didn't look at me.

"What you saw. Hindi 'yon gano'n!" paliwanag ko sa kanya.

"What is it then?" he said, but this time, tumingin siya sa'kin.

Those eyes are doing something. It's making me move. It's beautiful but it's deadly.

"She said that she likes me." I said and I looked away. "And she tried to kiss me but thank God it didn't happen because you came." dagdag ko.

"You like her too?" biglang tanong niya.

"Of course not!" sagot ko agad.

He didn't answer me. Binalot lang kami nang katahimikan. I wanna speak, but I can't. I don't know what to say. I feel like crying.

"Now I know why it feels like you've been awkward to each other." sabi ni Kian. "Because something is going on between you two." dagdag niya.

What??? Where did he get that conclusion?

"Hindi! Nothing is going on. I am not even interested in her?" mabilis na paliwanag ko.

"I wanna go home." sagot niya.

"Hindi nga-" I realized that he really wants to get out of here when I looked at him.

"Trust me." I said and I went out of the car.

Umalis din naman siya agad. Nakatingin lang ako sa likuran ng kotse niya hanggang sa mawala 'yon sa paningin ko.

My chest is heavy. I feel like some warm liquid is already forming in my eyes.

Kian. I have never seen him so displeased with me.

"Why does he care so much?" biglang may nagsalita sa likod ko.

Napatingin ako sa kanya at tama nga ako. Si Rina na naman.

"Stay away from me." I said that in a very serious tone.

I was about to walk and leave her but she started talking again.

"Ano ba kayo ni Kian? Why do you need to explain yourself? It's not like you committed a crime?" deretsong sabi ni Rina.

I stopped.

"You're the one who caused this mess. Leave me alone." sabi ko nang hindi tumingin sa kanya.

I am so mad not just because of what happened but also because she has a point.
