George's legs trembled as he stood up from the airplane seat. 10 hours in one spot had his body aching. He had texted Dream before take off, to which Dream said Nick would be there to pick him up when he lands. Dream's supporters don't know what he looks like, so he didn't wanna get caught picking up George. George exited the airplane and collected his bags, then received a text from Nick about where to meet. As soon as Nick saw George walking in his direction, he instantly lit up.

"Hey man, it's so cool that you're here" Nick says while giving a comforting hug to George.

"I'm just happy to be finally off that plane" George sighed of relief. Nick laughed in response.

"You should see Dream, I think he barely slept 'cuz he's too excited to see you" Nick stated. George slightly blushed but quickly pretended he was looking at something in the opposite direction of Nick to hide it.

"I guess I'm excited to see him too" George said with a hint of sarcasm, but he truly did mean it. It still hadn't hit him that he'd be meeting his Dream soon.

The car ride to Nick and Dream's shared house went by quick. Nick and George talked the entire way there, having laughing fits every five seconds. Pulling up to the house, George began to sweat nervously. What if Dream didn't like George in person? What if he thought George looked ugly and didn't want to be friends with him anymore? George tried to push these thoughts away, and stepped out of the car with a racing heart.

Nick led him inside the house, and he was greeted by Patches, their cat. He knelt down to pet her, and when he looked up, his eyes widened at the beautiful boy before him.

Dressed in grey joggers and a white tee, Dream stood  in front of him with the brightest smile on his face. George was in awe, he had only seen a few pictures of him, and most of those were just mirror selfies covering his face with his phone. Dream's hair was ruffled and messy and all George wanted to do was run his fingertips through it. He was brought out of his short-lived state when Dream spoke.

"Hey, George" he spoke softy, beaming with his perfect teeth.

"Hey Dream" George said back excitedly. He stood up and immediately threw himself into Dream's arms. The two embraced each other, hearts racing and butterflies soaring through their stomachs, unbeknownst to each other. Tears pricked George's eyes, he couldn't believe he was in his arms.

Dream pulled away and looked down at the brown eyed boy, "Oh don't cry you softie, you look cuter with a smile". This made George giggle like a mad man, and it warmed Dream's heart. Nick looked at the two with amusement.

"Here, let's get you set up in your room" Nick said. The three walked upstairs, Dream carrying the heaviest bag, putting his belongings in the guest room. They then gave a little house tour, and George smiled when he saw Dream's fan art room. His gaze softened when he saw the corner dedicated to fan art of him and Dream. (sorry i had to add it in here)

"That's my favourite part about this room, a spot just for us" Dream smiled warmly. George felt elated.

"Okay guys, we should make breakfast or something" Nick suggested. The other two nodded in agreement and walked to the kitchen.

Soon enough, it turned into an all out food fight.

"Dream, you got flour all over me!" George said, sticking out his bottom lip in an attempt to pout. God you're so cute, Dream thought to himself.

"Yeah, and I'd do it again Georgie" he threatened, before taking a handful and throwing it in his direction. George slightly dodged in time, the flour hitting Nick instead.

"Come here, stupid bitch!" Nick yelled, chasing Dream around the kitchen island. The three continued this way for about 20 minutes, before deciding it was time to quit trying to make pancakes. Nick ordered McDonald's for them instead.

The day went on perfectly, the three just watching movies together, cracking jokes, and enjoying each other's company. George should've been extremely tired from jet lag, but he was somehow wide awake. For most of the day, George and Dream sat on either sides of Nick. They secretly glanced over at each other several times, just to smile or mouth something to make the other laugh.

"Alright guys, I'm gonna go to bed. See you guys in the morning" Nick said late in the night. The other two responded with a goodnight, then turned toward each other.

"Sooo... what should we do?" George asked, slightly nervous. He had never been nervous to be alone with Dream before, but then again he's never been alone with him physically.

"Let's go on the roof" Dream smiled, holding out a hand for George to grab. He gave Dream a hesitant look, then put his hand in his. The touch shot electricity through their veins.

Dream led him up the stairs, out of his bedroom window, and onto the roof. It was a perfect night out.

"Oh, I forgot one thing" Dream stated before running inside, then coming back out with a blanket.  George looked confused.

"For us to lay on, dummy" Dream laughed. He set the blanket out and the two laid side by side, looking up at the clear starry night before them.

Dream began to point at the stars and name the constellations, and George couldn't help but think how hot it was that Dream was so smart.

"Earth to George, did you hear me?" Dream asked.

"No sorry, I zoned out for a second" George nervously laughed. Dream thought it was cute, and soon realized how close the two were to each other. His knuckles touched the back of George's hand, and a hot tingle shot up his arm.

"You are very pretty" Dream blurted out, staring into George's eyes. George blushed and looked back up, he was never one to take compliments well.

"Thank you, you're not too bad yourself" he laughed in response. The two moved closer to each other without even realizing, and Dream tucked his arm under George's head. Dream thought it was almost like a date.

No, Dream. He's your best friend not your boyfriend. The thought made him sad.

George noticed the mood change, "Are you doing okay there?" He asked.

"Yeah, just happy to finally have you here" Dream replied, pushing negative thoughts away.

The pair laid outside a while longer, before George decided he was way too tired to stay up anymore. They headed back inside, quietly giggling in the darkness of the house. Dream walked George to his room, bringing him into another embrace. They sighed in unison, it felt so right being with each other. Dream pulled away, and looked down at George's lips.

They look soft and kissable, he thought. He licked his own lips, then widened his eyes once he realized what he was doing. George couldn't take his eyes off of him either, Dream was too pretty.

"Well, I'll let you go to bed now" Dream finally broke the silence. George's heart sank in disappointment. He wanted Dream to kiss him so badly.

"Goodnight, Clay" George softly smiled, opening the door of his room. Dream's heart fluttered at the use of his real name.

"Goodnight, George" He walked away from George's room and into his own, thinking God why did I have to fall in love with my best friend?
