Taylor POV
When my friend Liam told me Reese was coming to see the lacrosse game I needed to be on my best game I was still just in shorts when Reese came in he walked over to me he leaned on the locker next "good luck tonight Tay I'm only here to see you" "thanks Reese" he then walked back out I had a feeling that something is going to go wrong today I continued getting ready putting on my jersey which hugged around my biceps nicely and then my socks and cleats I never wore the Chest plates I got my stick and ran out onto the field I was one of the star players i was a midfielder or a defender well both sometimes I got in position and since we didn't have enough players I was both
It was half way through the game I was crushing it until I was running forward and I turned my head to see if there was someone I could pass too I didn't see the guy running at me I went flying a couple of feet when I landed I hurt my leg my shoulder and head coach Reese and some players came running to me the coach screamed "get his helmet off" paramedics came running over they got me on a back board "Reese" I called out cause I couldn't see him "I'm here" "can you come with me" he nodded and got in the ambulance when we arrived at the hospital he was following us that's when my dad came in I was terrified of him he was abusive he immediately started shouting "TAYLOR HOW HOW COULD YOU BE THIS STUPID YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF SHIT" he then slapped me that's when Reese pulled him away "DON'T EVER TALK TO HIM LIKE THAT AGAIN HE'S NOT WORTHLESS HE'S MORE THAN YOU" security then dragged him away I took Reeses hand "thank you no one has done that for me before" "hey don't worry about it does he hit you all the time" I nodded and put my head down in shame he then kissed my cheek "it's not your fault ok" I nodded he sat down next to my bed doctor then told me I had go into surgery to have my shoulder fixed so they where preparing me I was really nervous
Reese POV
I called my mum and dad I was nervous and scared for Taylor I love him can you blame me I've had a crush on him forever I saw my mum dad Francis Malcolm and Dewey walk in they immediately spotted me since I was the only one pacing back and forth my mum then put her hand on my shoulder "Reese Reese what happened" "A lacrosse game went wrong he's got a dislocated knee a Shattered shoulder and a concussion he's in surgery right now I also found out his dad's abusive" everyone then hugged me they know about my crush
A few hours later a doctor came into the waiting room "hi is anyone here for Taylor Strand" we all got up and walked over to the doctor "ok well the surgery went fantastically well is their someone called Reese here" I nodded "that's me" "well he's asking you he's in room 237" I nodded and started to walk over to the room I knocked on the door and I heard a weak "come in" I walked in and saw him he looked so weak and vulnerable he smiled weakly when he saw me walk in I walked over to the side of the bed I really wanted to kiss him so I decided it ask "hey Taylor can I try something if you don't like it tell me" he nodded I put his cheeks in my hands and I leaned in kissing him I didn't want him to sit up just in case he hurt himself he kissed back though I pulled away he blushed I smiled though "Taylor will you be my boyfriend?" "Yes of course Reese you don't know how long I've wanted that to happen"
Taylor's POV
I moved over and patted the bed he laid down next to me he laid his head on my chest he slowly fell asleep that's when his family walked in I indicated for them to be quiet they saw the sight and aww'ed Francis walked over "I'll take him home so you can rest" Lois then asked me something "do you want me to stay with" "no your family needs you and social services will be here soon" "wait what no you're not going with them you're staying with us" I nodded my he doctor came in and done a few tests and I was free to go
