Part 20 ~ Lazy Sunday

I tried to use their excitement as a distraction... From the fact Korra was still linked with my arm... We were out of the supermarket and there was absolutely no reason for it.... I'm in no way complaining... I'm just... Confused.....

I am too tired to be thinking... I'll just overthink and overcomplicate what shouldn't be over complicated. I've walked with both Mako and Bolin like this... There is nothing not normal about friends walking like this...

I need a nap.

"I don't know why I bother" Fae sighed... Me too dude.. Me too.

"At least let me carry some of the bags!" Bolin offered as he saw that he readjusted the bags he was carrying.

"No.. it's fine"

"Just give him a bag before he takes them all~" I called out to him... "He'll do it.~" I laughed. When Bolin wants to help.. He makes sure he helps.

"I'm fine with carrying the bags.. Really." Fae made the mistake of denying Bolin the joys of being helpful..

"If you say so~" Bolin then started to whistle and act innocent... Before grabbing all of the bags from Fae. I Snorted, Korra laughed and Fae Looked equally surprised and defeated..

"Told you.." I sighed as Bolin was now walking slightly ahead in an attempt to avoid the possibility of Fae retaliating.

"I went shopping with him the first time..." Fae said as he rolled his eyes. " He did the same thing then.."

"Then you should have known not to fight the inevitable..." I shook my head..

" You guys can let go by the way... She can't get lost when there is like nobody else around." Fae pointed to our linked arms.. Fae no why.. No... I'm sorry..

I felt my face heat up as Korra and I both took our arms back.. I kept my view Anywhere other than Korra.

"I.. Just keep walking!" Korra huffed as she walked ahead a bit as we were almost back to the shop. I walked ahead to get inside the shop as soon as possible.. Maybe now I'll be able to take a nap at least...

I sighed as we all went upstairs and entered the apartment. I crashed on the couch near the window and Bolin raced to the kitchen with the groceries. Maybe I can close my eyes for just a feeewww minutes.. I heard Bolin and Korra joking around with each other before I passed out.

I was being shaken awake. "No~" I whined and tried to hide on the side of the couch.

"You had your nap so Wakeee Uppp~" Bolin's voice was right in front of me. I pushed his face away "Oof" He fell backwards with a thud but I was still being shaken awake....

"(Y/n)! Food's done!~" This time Korra was the one trying to wake me up.

"Then eat it~" I whined.. I'd rather sleep.. She then pulled my arms with a force that had me sitting up right.

I just groaned and stayed sitting upright..

"If she wants to sleep let her sleep I can just put the food away and save it for later.." I shook my head before sliding off the couch onto the floor.

"No I'm up I'm up.. You went out of your way to cook, I'm not letting it sit." I yawned and started to become fully functional. Korra and Bolin were eager to start eating as Fae had set everything down.

"It doesn't matter to me as long as it's eaten at some point within the week" He shrugged as we started eating.

I shrugged back at him. "Meh.. sleep is for the weak.." Which earned me a shove in the shoulder.. I expected it to be Bolin... but it was Korra.
