Part 20 ~ Lazy Sunday

That's not fair!

"I...UghH!" I uncrossed my arms to re-cross them to prove my point. I huffed and this time looked away from him. Korra laughed and just put her hand on my shoulder.

"He does have a point~"

"....I know.." I looked at the ground still huffy.

"Haha I win~" Fae gloated

"Keep walking hot shot~" Korra practically pushed him forward.

"Says the pro bending Avatar"

Korra just shrugged at his response. I laughed as we arrived at our destination.

We walked into the store and Bolin turned to Fae. "Do you want me to grab the meat again?"

"Do you remember which one?" Fae asked him..

Bolin thought for a second before clarifying what he needed to go grab. "Arctic hen... two or three things of it?"

"Uhh.... Three?" Fae responded somewhat unsure. Better to get the three than not run out I guess... That would be like... One thing of it per the three of them though... Bolin nodded before heading off to where he would presumably find what was needed. "Uuh... next is scallions, carrots, garlic, and black sesame seeds..." Fae tapped his chin as we followed him towards the vegetables.

Korra was just looking around amazed. I'm guessing she has never been in a supermarket before then..? "This place is so cool! There is so much here!" She was gazing around and she grabbed the back of my sleeve as we followed Fae. A lot of people had stopped to look at Korra but she either didn't notice or didn't care. I giggled slightly at her reactions.

"Next is apple cider vinegar and Tamari... come on you two" Fae waved at us to follow him. I rolled my eyes at him as I simply followed. Korra found the highest levels of interest in the simplest things here... It was so adorably dorky...

She was currently looking at something but Fae was almost out of the aisle after grabbing something he needed. I unlatched her hand from my sleeve before hooking her arm with mine. "C'mon.. I think Fae's about to leave us here." I whispered to her and she looked up seeing him almost out of view. I continued walking with her like that as I watched all of her exaggerated reactions to the supermarket. It was honestly really fun, For grocery shopping. Something I normally found to be a chore.

We caught up with Fae who had been found by Bolin. Fae turned to us before addressing Korra. " Did you enjoy the market Korra?"

She nodded and I tried to hide my chuckles. "Yeah! They have so much here!" she was practically bouncing like Ikki, taking my arm somewhat with her since we were still linked at the elbow.

"You could have grabbed something if you wanted?" Fae pointed out.. Korra looked like she was thinking, using her free arm to hold her chin..

"Well... This just means we could come back~" She pointed out that yes.. We could come back..

"I mean if you want me to cook again we'd come back anyway." He messed with his friend..

Korra shrugged "True~ But now we get to head back and you can cook and we can eat...." She looked just as excited as Bolin did for Fae's cooking. It's delicious.. But they looked slightly ravenous...

"Why do I feel like I'm only wanted for my cooking right now..." Fae sighed before the cashier told him the total. He paid and the four of us left.

"Nah~." I waved off his thought as I laughed... Maybe the other two possibly felt that way.. But I didn't at least. We started out walk back to the shop, Bolin being bouncy and happy and Korra being only slightly less so.
