❝......❞- Means the start or the end of a character's thoughts

This chapter mentions verbal abuse so if that subject is sensitive to you, you should skip to the next chapter

This chapter is going to be a little longer as well, because I combined two chapters into one

The next morning you woke up from a nightmare and you couldn't get it out of your head so you went to the bathroom to rinse your face off with water.

You went to check on your mother and saw the couch empty and you immediately started worrying about where she is, but when you went to the kitchen and saw her looking out of the window and drinking her coffee, you felt the worry leave your brain

''You haven't changed, Y/N'' She said not turning around to look at you

''What do you mean?''

''Still the same favorite tea, same style, same spices, you haven't changed one bit'' She said

''Where are you going with this?'' You asked as you sat down

''That you're still that shitty, disgusting, brat you've always been'' She says chuckling as she turns around

''Oh look who said that''

''Yes, I might not be the best mother but I'm definitely not as bad as you make it seem'' She dared to say

''Oh? You were never there for me! The only people who actually cared for me were grandma and my aunt. So don't you dare to come up to me and start playing the loving mother act''

''Y/N, ah Y/N, Y/N, I somehow thought when you would become older you would understand. Nothing I did was wrong. Yes, I wasn't the mother of the year. Yes, I had boyfriends and kids. But I'm not a bad mother'' She says

''Not a bad mother? So how much have you done for those four children that you had after me? Who do they live with? With their fathers. Do they know who their mother is? No. Do they know how it is to feel a mother's warmth? No. You took that away from them. And don't you dare say you left them for me. I was an adult living with grandma at that time. You were alone and you could take care of them so shut your dirty mouth!''

''Oh don't act like you're perfect, Y/N! You don't know how it is to be a mother !'' She snaps back

''Yes, I might not be a mother but one thing I know for sure. I will be a better mom for my children than you ever were and will be. And don't you even dare to think of meeting them. You're dead to me'' You said looking in her (E/C) eyes

Something Y/N and her mother didn't know was that Levi was right there in the living room, listening to their argument. He didn't plan on it but he just didn't want to walk in there and act like everything is okay.

Levi felt bad. Why?

Because he suggested that Y/N texts her mother back. He was the one who suggested that she would stay over for two days. And he was the one who asked Y/N to give her mother a chance.
