Gons POV
"JUST GET OUT!" My Aunt yelled. What did I do? Everything was just fine until I said I was gay. "B-But.." I stutter it's all I could get out before more yelling happened "NO GON I WILL NOT HAVE A GAY NEPHEW! GET. OUT." She said louder this time.
I go to my room and pack up everything. I would hunt for fish I could eat. I grabbed a pillow and blanket and put them in a big bag I had bought. I quickly swam out the door. I had no friends here at the reef that I could stay with.
So I swam. Far away from the reef. Or any mermaid/man I saw. They seemed concerned about where I was going but I didn't know where or when I would stop. I headed towards the beach.
I swam up to the surface and saw a man.. no a human. His hair was white and fluffy looking with pale skin. He also had ocean blue eyes. He just sat there staring at something. I look behind me but there is nothing there. He was looking at me. I looked back at him.
"Who are you?" he asked me. I look at him and tilt my head curiously. I touch a part of his lower leg. Just because I've never seen one doesn't mean I don't know what their body parts are called. I just touch his legs and look back up at him. "I'm Gon!" I say to the flustered boy.
"Why did you do that?" He asked. I tilt my head in confusion. "Do what?" I ask. "T-Touch my calf?" I look at him and giggle. "Well I've never seen a human so close up before," I say. "What do you mean, aren't you human?" The boy asked. I just laughed. "No silly! I am a merman!" I say holding back any more laughter. He sits there in shock.
"Are you kidding!? Mermaids and men are fake!" He suddenly yells. I look at him in confusion. "Well then, what's your name?" I ask him to get my mind off the topic. "Killua." He says I smile. I pull my hand out of the water to shake his. We shake hands.
"Anyways if you were to be a merman why are you here?" Killua asked. I look down into the glistening water. "I got kicked out," I say I look back at him. His face was confused.
