"I'm glad you girls bonded." He said. Then he clears his throat. "As odd as it may sound, my house is going to become boring when you leave. I'm going to miss you."
"Me too. More than you know." She pouted. "I will miss everything here. And you especially." She said sincerely.
He drew her closer from the waist.
"Will you visit me sometime during the weekend?" He asked.
She nodded." Definitely." And she pulled him into an embrace. And he hugged her back.
She left the house with some of her belongings after saying goodbye to his mother and grandmother. And his driver took her home.

Demilade ended the call he was with his Personal Assistant and he went to the living room. His grandmother was busy looking through a fashion magazine and he didn't bother to disturb her and he went to his mother's room. He decided it was the best time for him to talk to his mother personally.
Mrs. Jolaoluwa was sitting on the bed with a small photo album laying on her thigh. Her mind was not on the open album and she seems lost in thought.
"Mommy," Demilade called as he entered into the room. The door was ajar and his mother was sitting on the bed, so there was no need to knock.
She looked up, shocked to see him. She gave a small smile that Demilade noticed did not get to her eyes.
He looked down at the photo album on her thigh as he sat down beside her feet on the bed. There were those photos that had been taken by force when he was little. He had not seen them in ages.
"You still have these photos." He stated.
She nodded. "Yes. I came across it shortly before we went on vacation. So I brought it along with me."
He nodded. "Mom is anything the problem?" He asked, concerned.
"No. There isn't." She retorted. She closes the album. "And Ade, I will be leaving tomorrow. I need to go check on those girls at the shop."
"I don't have any problem with that mom. But you are not going anywhere unless you tell me what is wrong. I have noticed how you've been acting for a while now. And I don't want to hear that it is nothing. You have to tell me what is wrong. Why did you and grandma suggest the vacation?"
After he put many thoughts into what might be bothering his mother. He knew there were only two things. It was either about her or her mother's health or Lawrence Ninalowo. But he hoped it was not the latter. And he realized why they had suggested the vacation in the first place. Whatever is making her worry is the reason why they had visited and insisted on a vacation.
"Demilade..."
He cut her off. "Mom don't bother lying to me. To be honest, I am very grateful to you and grandma for suggesting the vacation. But I know grams had insisted on visiting me and suggesting a vacation for a reason and that had been the cause of your recent attitude. So don't hide it from me, mom."
Her face was turning red and her eyes were swelling with tears. He fisted his hand to a ball. He hates to see tears on his mother's face. Especially a sad one. It had been quite a while since he saw her shedding sad tears.
"Mom, what is it? Just say it." He urged her. "Are you sick? Did something happen at the shop?"
"No." She shakes her head. "No. I'm not sick neither are your grams. There is something I want to tell you..... but I hope you won't get angry. You won't like it but I don't want you to get mad either."
