Lily opened her eyes and looked around , she was in her room she couldn't remember what happened last night except she got into an argument with Snape

She came to the conclusion that Sirius must have carried to her to bed

She got up and walked into the common to find it empty and then she remembered she and James fought last night and that McGonagall was mad at her

She finished her routine and walked downstairs it was the day of the Quittich match Sytherine against Gryffindor

She looked at the time 10:00 thirty minutes for the match to start she walked by the locker room and saw Peter who waved her over

"Hiya Lily" he said

"Hey Pete" she said

"Where's Remus??" She asked as they walked to the stands

"Smith hurt his leg so Moony is substitute"

"Ohh that's not good"

"That's what I said" Peter said as they both sat down

They watched as the game rolled on until they noticed Parkinson decided to play dirty he started ramming into James

"Oh deary"

James being as stubborn as he is ignored Parkinson and kept scoring goal after goal

They watched as Remus flew towards the ground out of nowhere and soon flew up with the snitch

"GOOOO MOONS!!!" James yelled and suddenly let out a yelp when Parkinson rammed into his broom sending him spinning before dropping from his broom

"YOU FUCKIN PRICK!!" Sirius yelled as he flew towards Parkinson

"ENOUGH!!!" Dumbledore yelled

"GRYFFINDOR WON THE MATCH!! GET BACK TO YOUR ROOMS!! PARKINSON MY OFFICE" He yelled and everyone quickly dispersed

Lily pushed her way through the crowd trying to get to the field when she finally got there, no one was there

She ran down the corridors till she reached the infirmary she walked inside and saw the boys

"Is h-

"He's okay....just a few bruises and I fixed his arm" Pomfrey said

"He may have a couple cuts but their under his gear so I can't see.....it's nothing major though otherwise there'd be bleeding" she said and looked at them

"You boys should go get ready for dinner....take Peter with you please" she said chased the boys away

"Lily could you do me a favor??"

"Poppy could you give me a second!!" Lily said Pomfrey nodded and lily ran after Sirius

"Sirius!!" She yelled and they stopped and turned around she walked up to them and pulled him in for a hug

"Thank you for last night.....and for carrying me to bed "

"You welcome Lil.....but I didn't carry you to bed" he said and pulled away

"Wha-

"Prongs"

"What why d-

"That's why Parkinson was mad at him" Remus said and she looked at him confused

"After you fell asleep Sirius and Snape had a few words and then James may have had a "talk" with him this morning" Remus said

"Parkinson was mad because James beat Snape's arse in front of everyone" Sirius said

"So...James carried me to bed??" She asked

"Yeah" Sirius responded she nodded and walked away

"EVANS!! He deserves a thank you" Sirius yelled as she walked back to the infirmary

"Ohh good I thought you'd never come back" Pomfrey said as Lily walked in

"Lily I need to head out for a few hours maybe overnight.....you being head girl can stay out past curfew so......I know it's alot to ask but could you heal his cuts when he wakes up?? I know that you two do-

"I'll do it" Lily said almost immediately

"Really??" Pomfrey asked skeptically

"Yeah I'll stay with him" lily said

"Okay he doesn't eat when he wakes up but then feels hungry within the hour and will only eat four slices of toast with strawberry jam and he drinks a cup of hot coco" Pomfrey said as she gathered her things

"You can stay if you want to keep him company or you can lock up and leave" she said and then looked at her

"Thank you Lily" she said with a smile as she walked out closing the door behind her

Lily looked at the sleeping form in front of her , he was in his Quittich sweater hair messy as always he had a few cuts on his face and a bruise on his jaw.....it was the first time she saw him without his glasses.....and she thought he was still gorgeous

Lily waited by his bedside for the next few hours the boys came by and left during dinner

She looked at the time it was nearly midnight she got up to finish her rounds and pick up dinner for James on  her way back

James woke up and felt the room spinning and this weight on his arm

He looked around and realized he was in the hospital wing he looked at the clock and it was half past midnight

He sighed and was about to yell for Pomfrey when he felt weight shift by his arm he reached for his glasses which we're on the table and put them on

He looked down to she red hair spread across his bed

Before he knew what happened his hand made it's way towards it and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear and she immediately stirred

James mentally cursed himself for waking her up he held he breath as he watched her stir she blinked a few times and then her eyes met his

"Your awake" she said and stretched her arms

"I got you dinner....but before that I need you lift your shirt up"

"Eager Evans?" He asked smirking and she let out a soft chuckle

"I wish I could but my arm is kinda broken" he said gesturing to his arm

"Oh....do you mind??" She asked and he nodded and soon her felt her fingertips and the cool air hit his torso and a few mumbled words she pulled his shirt back down and reached for the plate and gave it to him

She mumbled another spell and the cup of coco turned hot and she placed it on the bedside table

"Evans you know I can't use my arm right??" James asked

"Do you want me to help??" She asked and he nodded as she helped him sit up

"Can I??" She asked as she sat on the bed beside him

"Yeah" James mumbled and she held a slice of toast out and he took a bite out of it

"Have you eaten??" He asked and she nodded he used his other arm and held the peice of toast in his hand

"James I'm really not hungry" she said and placed the plate on the table

"What's wrong Lil??"

"I-i i was worried about you today!! And that this happened because of Snape and I's argument it-"

There it was that sound the made him feel like his heart was being carved out
