"What do you want??" Lily asked pulling her arm away while she glared at Snape

"He broke your promise he did it agai-

"I know!!" She said and he looked at her  confused

"He told me!! And also it doesn't matter because we're not friends anyway!!" She hissed

"Your not seriously falling for his act are you?? lily he's playing you!!" Snape yelled

"What do you know??"

"I know what's best for you!!" He yelled

"You know what's best for me is you staying away from me!!" Lily said jabbing her finger into his chest

"So that's it your turning your back on me??"

"YOU TURNED YOUR BACK ON ME THE DAY YOU STARTED DOING THINGS YOU SHOULDN'T!!" She yelled

"YOU KNOW WHAT I WAS RIGHT I DON'T WANT ANYTHING TO DO WITH A FLITY MUDBLOOD LIKE YOU!!" He yelled and walked off

Lily felt her eyes pooling and her vision blurring she ran up the stairs and to the common room

James was seated in the sofa waiting Lily , he didn't know where she went off to after dinner the door opened and he whipped around to see her in tears

James got to his feet and ran towards her

"Hey Lil- What's wrong??" James asked and held her head in his hands

"He did it again" she mumbled and he didn't hesitate to pull her towards him and wrap his arms around her

"Who Lils what's wrong??" He asked as he held her close 

"He called me a mudblood" she said and instantly felt him tense

"James...James please j-just hold me" she said and his arms wrapped tighter around me

"It's alright Evans.....I'm here" he said the next he picked her up bridal style and walked towards the sofa he sat down with her on his lap

Normally she would have hexed him but now she needed someone anyone to hold her

James sat with the most beautiful woman the girl of his dreams in his arms , on his lap and all he thinking about is how he's going to murder Snape

After she cried her heart out she looked up at him and his heart stopped ,  hair was all over her nose and cheeks red but those eyes big green eyes were looking up at him

"You okay??" He asked softly she nodded and lay her head on his shoulder

"Can we stay here tonight??" She asked in a small voice

"We can stay like this forever Lils" he  mumbled into her hair and placed a kiss on her forehead

James moved so he was lying on the sofa with her against his chest he grabbed the blanket that was over the back of the sofa and opened it over them

"Good night James" she said snuggled into him chest

"Good night love" he said and pulled her close to him

The next morning the remaining marauders and Marlene stood in the heads common room dumbfounded

"I can't believe he actually did it" Sirius said

"Shush!!" Remus said glaring at him

After a long discussion and Remus objecting to it every two seconds , Marlene ended up on Sirius shoulders as she held her camera in hand
